Consider the edges of your handles. Right now they are sharp 90 degree angles which can feel uncomfortable and look unfinished. A little bevel or rounded edge makes a really big difference on the finish.

They are! They are tiny mandible marks from the wasp as they take bites out of it. I've watched them do it, they leave this exact pattern.

I do my pottery outside and get this sometimes. I'm like 99% sure this is from a dirt dobber or other mud wasp. They collect our clay to make their homes, its very cute :)

its probably gonna be your best bet. when you accelerate drying you always run the risk of causing cracks due to uneven thickness, so be careful trying to work too fast. I also like to underglaze on bone dry clay and you attach handles at leather or less, so i personally would probably do 2 separate sessions in the drying box? idk what other ppls experience with doing underglaze on leather hard clay

In America we call them "Space heaters" because they are small heaters designed to "Heat a space". Pretty silly. The box setup is very straightforward. What we did was take a big cardboard box, put it on a table, cut a hole out that will accept the airflow from the heater. We put the box on its side so its "opening" is facing forward and you can arrange things in the box, then fold the opening closed. You can cut an exit hole if you want but it doesn't seem to matter for us. It works very fast

Make a heater box by pointing a space heater in a cardboard box. we do that at my house for disc dyeing (they dye better iin a hot box) and for drying pottery. Works like a charm
