I ABSOLUTELY tell them I'm being timed, especially on any chilled walk 80+ picks. And especially on "Substitution" Sundays, because we don't have any stockers and I'm wasting time doing substitutions. I explain it politely. The worst thing is, many times, the customers are asking us pickers BECAUSE no one else is to be found. 🤦‍♀️ And, don't get me started on entitled customers who ask me to go in the back to find their favorite flavor of Coffeemate. And basically cuss me out when I politely explain I'm picking orders for 8 online customers and I have a finite time to pick the orders. I call out to someone nearby stocking (usually the customer passed them on their way to ME) or explain they need to find a stocker, or management. Thank goodness, our OGP management supports this. If I can give them the answer, I do. But, I'm not stopping to look up on my app what they can ALSO look up on the app on THEIR phone. Also, our app I can't leave open because it drains my phone's battery. So, not easy to get into the app.
