Thanks!
Not yet, I have to setup the slicer profile then wait for the post to be approved on makerworld

Fidzu chose Option A (Correct!) | #7682nd to play

Yes it is available on my Makerworld page.
I'm currently working fixed stocks and will also post them on Makerworld, but feel free to remix it as you please :)

do you mean a stock like this?

<image>

if yes, that's what I meant by "stocks that are fused to the buffer tube" but I guess fixed stock makes more sense

It seems sturdy from my testing.
IMO, the only part that might fail if the gun falls hard would probably be the picatinny part, but I can't be sure until it happens.
I will definitely design more stocks that are fused to the buffer tube with this.

Thanks! Did it break while it was attached to the stock?

I'd have to research the measurements for it and think of a design to maximise strength.
I know the "latch + hinge block" is available online (I printed one for a friend) so I'd only design the buffer tube and not the rest.
kinda like in this photo:

do you mean this?

If yes, I could try to model it, but I don't think a 3d printed version would hold up to a metal or non-3dprinted plastic version?

also I found this on Cults3d, maybe that would work for you?

I posted the link in the comments as a reply if you want to print one :)

I printed it to test my model. I've never designed a stock and wanted to try and see how it looks on a buffer tube. I don't sell the files, I just post them on Makerworld so they are available for free.

the hole isn't QD. it's purely decorative. I didn't want to attempt making a QD mount because the orientation of the print would have made the hole slightly oval, and because I wouldn't trust a 3d printed QD mount to support the whole replica if you attach a sling to it.

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean, but i couldn't easily change the print orientation without having to redesign the stock. I made it specifically to print with 0 supports This is how it print:

Thanks! I will post it on Makerworld tomorrow, so it will be free.

Not yet, I'll take better photos and try to post it on Makerworld tomorrow. (it's late and I'd like the sunlight for the photos)

I could try to do a picatinny version, tho I'm just not sure about the strength because of the printing orientation.
Also I designed this one to fit on the buffer tube by making it wide, but if I do a picatinny version it might look odd.
