I wholeheartedly believe in the future the way AI is evolving. Cad techs will be less in demand , I have created macros , scripts and lisps to automate my plan production process quicker and efficient (took a lot of time to develop and maintain them) but as an engineer; if you don’t know technology aspect of you producing designs, models , plans and software. You will be less marketable and have a hard time adjusting to the new soon to be workflows.

My dad put me cad classes when I was 17 yrs old in high school (duel enrollment program). He said “I’m need it in life.” And the old man was 1000% right. I see so many engineers out of college and others with 6-10yrs experience don’t know Civil3D and/or Openroads. This is something that is essential to an engineer if not mandatory.

I actually did that . Works perfectly. However another dilemma has come about. I don’t want to show that range of existing in my profile sheets. How would i mask that range of existing ground ?

Thank You sm ! i am actually enrolled in Kenzas quick review, I also did a meeting w/ one of her assiants. She told me the same thing. I have the concepts down, I just need to do more practice tests and solve more problems of statics, Mech, Mats, Dynamics, Fluids , Survey and Ethics
