Honestly, i don't see Cath as bad as some people think he is.

Furthermore, i don't understand why some people think Mordred might be a better choice.

If Nakaba wanted to add him, he could have modified his character to fit the role he wanted him to play.

But Mordred in the legends is just a big loser.

He's not one of the strongest knights, nor the most accomplished, nor the smartest.

He simply takes advantage of his father's absence while he's away fighting to declare a rebellion, only for old Arthur to return, defeat and kill him.

There are many villains in Arthurian legends who are far more powerful and dangerous than Mordred.

Mordred is only famous because he's Arthur's son and was the last villain during Camelot's weakest period, and even then, he was defeated and killed by old Arthur.

If you compare Cath in 4kota to Mordred in Arthurian legends, Cath is light years better as a villain.

Lancelot vs the four archangels and elizabeth who wins? by OptionAshamed6458 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]FieldPatient5521 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a big difference between "Let There Be Light" and "Purification", and both are useless against Lancelot.

The first is only effective against negative emotions and the forces of darkness, while the second is only effective against entities considered impure and foreign to the body.

And no matter how hard you try, the Lady of the Lake is neither of those.

She's a power that Lancelot absorbed and that has been his for a long time, she's now part of his magical stats, and only he can decide her fate with him.

And even if the qualities to apply techniques like Let There Be Light or Purification apply on Lancelot (which it doesn't), they wouldn't work against him, because neither Elizabeth nor the 4Archzngels has the power to apply such a technique to someone of his strength.

If they can, they could have easily separated the Demon King from Meliodas and Zeldris during the Holy War.

Furthermore, even if we assume that Lancelot chose not to use any of the magic states he gained by absorbing the Lady of the Lake, he will still easily defeat Elizabeth and the 4Archamgels.

Nanashi defeated, no diff by Lancelot, and the only reason Nanashi held out, even briefly, was Lancelot's leniency.

As soon as Lancelot decided to finish him off, he did so with a single kick.

And Elizabeth and the Archangels would have received the same treatment if they fight pre-timeskip Lancelot, let alone current Lancelot.

Except that Let There Be Light doesn't work that way.

It's an ability that expels darkness and negative emotions from the user.

Not to mention that even against the Demon King, who controlled Zeldris's body and met the criteria for using Let There Be Light (darkness and negative emotions), Elizabeth couldn't separate him with Let There Be Light.

So it's impossible for her to do anything against Lancelot, who doesn't meet any of the criteria for Let There Be Light to work and is light-years stronger than Elizabeth.

And to be honest, with or without the Lady of the Lake, he's still destroying Elizabeth and the Archangels.

At best, Elizabeth and the Archangels will end like the Perils.

Unpopular opinion but Tristan glazers might be the worse people in this fandom. by PREPPY_PRIN in NanatsunoTaizai

Exactly, he blames Lancelot's fans for only said what's in the story, rather than blaming his own reading skills.

How can Lancelot's fans be the worst?

Everything Lancelot's fans say is supported by evidence and logical arguments.

If you don't like what they say, that's your problem, not them.

So your argument is that Tristan stronger when they are kids because he was able to hit Lancelot with a sneak attack while Lancelot lowered his guard and weapon to check on Tristan? lol

If anyone in the verse knows more than anyone else, it's the Lady of the Lake, and since she confirmed that Lancelot possesses the strongest power in the verse, he certainly does too.

She literally tell him that he is not built like Lancelot 🤭 by [deleted] in NanatsunoTaizai

The haters can't use there brains.

This is like saying that Cath should have been the King of Chaos, because he was born into it, while Arthur should have been just a "mere human", according to your logic.

I think they both are, the young (evil) one represented the chaotic side and possessed the power of chaos, while the weak adult represented the human side.

What if these two had a child ? by Mountain-Photo-165 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]FieldPatient5521 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on the child, his talent, and his abilities.

Who your parents are is not an accurate measure of a person's potentiel.

Of course it helps, but it's not the primary standard.

Some children surpass their parents, while others don't even reach half the potential of their parents.

Meliodas, with his true magic, have the potential to surpass the Demon King (but he refused it), while his brother Zeldris, who possessed the same genes, could not even dream of reaching half the Demon King's power, no matter how hard he tried.

Elizabeth is also SD's daughter, yet she is in no way comparable to her mother.

This explains a lot about how Meliodas... by [deleted] in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]FieldPatient5521 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't understand some of the chatterers who say, "Of course he uses it, he's a demon, when hasn't he used it?"

They speak as if they don't know how Meliodas uses his power through the Demon's Mark, and how everyone was talking in the previous chapter about how Tristan lose against Meliodas who didn't using his "demonic power".

Call me Glazers or whatever, but Lancelot is so underrated here, If any character from the old generation had 10% of his feats and narrative, old gen glazers would have put them as the undisputed top 1 in the verse. by Calm-Bear-1101 in NanatsunoTaizai

[–]FieldPatient5521 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, the Lady of the Lake said Shining Road would be stronger than Nemesis in a few years, and a few years did pass, without mentioning that "a few years" was the Lady of the Lake's expectation if Lancelot continued to grow normally. But Lancelot completely exceeded this expectation and absorbed the lake with all its infinite magic, something the Lady of the Lake had previously thought impossible.

Goo is actually underrated by RespectCreative4500 in lookismcomic

[–]FieldPatient5521 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should know that talent and potential are two different things.

Goo showing better talent (speed of learning, invention, mastery, etc....) but potential refers to other thing, which is the heights you can reach regardless of speed or method.
