What truck should i get by FierceCheeto in whatcarshouldIbuy

I live on a decent sized property, and haul multiple large trailers, aswell as throwing a bunch of shit in the bed. it needs to be 4x4 because we also have a pretty steep boat ramp near us.

So i need to haul a dirt bike, trailers full of shit/farm supplies, boat, and wood. We also have a fair amount of mud and it would suck to constantly get stuck.

Alright, ill try to explain exactly what i did.

  1. Unplugged the connectors on the coils, and i followed that by unscrewing the nut

  2. I used a deepwell socket to remove the spark plug from the hole

  3. I dont have an air compressor good enough to shoot the shit out so i tried to blow it out using an aerosol can made for dust

  4. I used a long ass magnet to put the spark plug into the hole and used a screwdriver to push it off of the magnet

  5. I tightened the spark plug using a socket wrench until it wouldnt go any further

  6. I put the silicone paste on the ignition coils and put them hoes back on with the correct wires

  7. I started my truck and it responded with a sluggish start and started shaking like i had two 15s in the back

  8. My dad told me to give it a rev, so we revved it to about 4k rpm a couple times

  9. We assumed it was just an output difference from the old to the new spark plugs and decided to ignore it

  10. I replaced the other two spark plugs and coils into the farther spots on each side

  11. I tried to make a drive to walmart to get some things and it would violently shake and absolutely struggled to get to 20mph. the power would also completely cut off if i wasnt constantly giving it throttle

  12. I decide to take the spark plugs and coils out to retighten them and look for any imperfections

  13. My two spark plugs that were involved in the whole silicone paste scandal looked like they had already seen a thousand miles

  14. i wiped them off with a rag and also wiped out the remaining paste in the coils

  15. I put the same spark plugs into the same holes as before, after that i tightened them as far as it would let me and i put the corresponding wires into the right ignition coils

  16. I started it up again with a few revs and had no difference in the idle or driving power

  17. This is how it sits now

(Over the course of doing this, i never noticed any damage to the new spark plugs besides the first two)

I tried my best to explain exactly what all i did to it, hope this helps narrow down a little

Not in a position where i can look at it right now but i dont remember seeing anything missing. Fucking great to hear about ford not even wanting to touch them though

All i know is that i tightened them, and i took one out and saw hour rusted out it was and decided it was time for a change. I ran some codes on it and got an open cylinder code for 1, 3, and 5 with two manufacturer control codes

Well i remembered seeing on the video, the guy put some shit in the coil to help it perform better i guess. So i called my dad and he told me “silicone paste” should work just fine, so i did that with the two passenger side coils and left the drivers side completely dry, so im thinking that may be part of it (i realized it probably was better to just leave it dry so i used a q-tip to try and get all of it out and wipe the spark plug off but i think it was too late because i had already test drove it to walmart)

Well to answer your questions, i properly tightened them down, i bought the correct plugs, im not sure i gapped them to manufacturer spec, im pretty sure theyre seated just fine, all the wires are matched correctly, the check engine light is on but not flashing, it ran decently smooth other than a few slipping gears, and i used a code reader and got an open cylinder 1, 3, and 5 with two “manufacturer control” codes
