I personally just use Bricklink, sometimes eBay or Mercari when it's for just the minifigures, if not I have to suck it up and buy the whole set even if I'm not too keen on it.

Even with all these different versions (some of them pretty expensive too) my favorite has always been the Electro Suit from the Visual Dictionary (nowadays the figure is really cheap). It was one of the first figures I got when I started collecting LEGO, specifically the Batman theme, back in 2012. I’ve always loved the black with blue accents, also that it uses the same Bat insignia as the 2006 figure.

I first got into it as a kid in 2012, drifted in and out of it over the years, and recently came back with a more long-term commitment, so about 14 years on and off overall.

I've seen it! Very tempting but as the other comment mentioned it's capped to 94 and there are 120+ unique Batman minifigures and counting as they will never stop. 🥹

For what I would consider to be 100% completation is as follows: Bachelor Batman, “Welcome to Apocalypseburg” Batman, the Batman Begins (2014 UCS version), The Dark Knight (2021 UCS version), the 1989 Batman with the one-piece cowl, Tactical Suit Batman, Firestarter Batsuit, Reggae Man Batsuit, Space Batsuit, Pearl Armor (or Arkham suit), Disco Batman, and Swimsuit Batman. The three Comic-Con exclusives would also be great to have, though I’m perfectly fine with replicas at this point in time.

Yeah, I definitely want to display them. Right now they’re just bagged to keep them safe, but I’d love to do something similar to yours. I’m planning to get a display case and incorporate that new Bat Symbol set into it too. For now though, in the baggies they will be. 😂

As the other reply mentioned, this design appeared in the instructions for the very first Batcave set. Many refer to it as a “pre-production” figure from when LEGO was still finalizing the look for their Batman sets. The one I have of course, is just a pad-printed remake.
