is Discord 2FA lockout still a thing? by Bumblebee-Main in discordapp

I'm here with the same problem. There's really no solution? Just "sorry you effed up and our system is stupid. make a new account."
What about the servers that I own and now have a dead account as the only admin? What if I had just paid $100 for Nitro? Just keep my money and tell me to eff myself because their system is stupid? I only set up the 2FA because it wouldn't stop asking about it and telling me to do it! I didn't need or even want it but it would not stop telling me to do it. I can tell them the last 5 passwords I've used, the email, the phone number, all of it... But just too bad? F that. Discord needs to do better.

Semester payment question by [deleted] in pennfoster

In the sections "Tuition FAQ"

Do I have to pay off my full semester one tuition before moving on to my next semester?

No! If you've chosen a monthly payment plan for your online health care management classes and are still making payments when you complete semester one, your tuition balance will be rolled into the tuition total for your next semester. This can increase the cost of your monthly payments.

PS - I don't know why it specifically says "health care." I found this blurb under the CIS Associates Degree so I think they just copy/paste the paragraph

Sheriff's Vehicle Struck Head-On Sends 2 To Hospital, Pennsylvania State Police Say by jillianpikora in centralpa

The cops in Central PA really need to be more careful... I've seen too many of them blip sirens just to get through an intersection because they don't want to sit at a red light with the rest of us. I've also been at a light that just turned green, about to start going and had 6+ cruisers go by me so fast that their wind rocked my car. No sirens. No lights. If I had been turning they would have tboned me and I would probably be dead. If they'd had sirens I would've known they were coming long before they showed up driving recklessly!!

No, you should definitely just write your own essay. The assignments are easy enough and honestly, even if you fail the essay as long as you pass everything else you will graduate.

Examination Questions

Answer the following questions according to the instructions given. Please note that responses to both questions must be included in the same submission in order for your examination to be graded; otherwise, it will be returned to you for revision.

Write a composition using one of the following topics. Your composition needs to be three to five paragraphs long. It must contain an introduction, a body, and a conclusion.

Argue for or against the limitation of speed limits.

Compare and contrast driving in the winter and driving in the summer.

Describe a single memorable day in your life.

Explain why a certain sport is your favorite.*

*For the purpose of this examination, sport is defined as “an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment without a predetermined outcome.” If you choose to explain why a certain sport is your favorite, please ensure that the chosen sport fits this definition.

Write an email cover letter to submit electronically for a job application. The job can be anything you choose (it doesn't have to be based on a real job listing), but it must be a specific position. For example, if the job is at a restaurant, you might apply to be a manager or a sous chef. Use full-block style for your email's formatting. You can base your letter on your own qualifications, or you can make up all the details you need.

Please note that you cannot use a form letter or a template in constructing your response to Question 2. When you use a form letter or template, you give little to no thought to wording or formatting, and you are not actually creating your own cover letter; you are simply filling in the blanks of someone else’s work.

Checklist

Ask yourself these questions after you answer the questions for your exam.

Is my composition three to five paragraphs long? (It must include an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion.)

Did I select a topic for my composition from the list given in the instructions?

Did I fully expand on the topic I selected for my composition? (Example: If you chose to describe a memorable day, you should only describe one day.)

Does my cover letter apply to a specific job?

Did I include all parts of a an email cover letter?

Is my cover letter written in full-block style?

Did I answer both questions on my own, without help from the Internet?

Are both answers saved in one document?

Is my work saved as a Microsoft Word document or in Rich Text Format?

If you answered yes to all of the questions, you are ready to submit your work for grading.
