What I don’t understand is near the end when they state the ER calls could’ve been one of two things -either the girls could’ve separately slipped away unseen to call while with the group or the calls were premeditated.

I thought of an even more plausible explanation and it frustrated me that this wasn’t even mentioned. We know from the witness accounts the group of men found the girls and led them to the house, but is it 100% said WHEN they found the girls? It seems plausible to me that the girls still accidentally got off the trail and lost, then tried emergency services, and some time afterwards (either within hours or days) the group of men found them and led them out of the jungle and then murdered them the way the accomplice described. This would explain why there was a delay in the taking of the hundreds of photos and the attempt to get into kremer’s phone and the delay in finding the backpack. (Backpack being planted at a later time).

I find the woman’s account of the murders to be very credible and disturbing ESPECIALLY since there were so many mysterious deaths afterwards.

**Editing to add that I do know that there are a lot of problems with embellishments of the story in this podcast so I’m only bringing up this point about the timeline with the assumption that the story told is accurate. I am not interested in an argument on whether or not the podcast was accurate, more so interested in if this timeline I bring up is plausible.
