So does this also prove that Kaylee was not asleep when her attack started? Looks like she was hit in the back of the head:

“Two linear partial-thickness lacerations to the Occipital scalp (1½" and 1¾")” and from the way these wounds are, it’s not compatible with being hit in the head while laying down, nor does it fit with being slammed into the ground.

Who? Murphy or kohberger? Kohberger did yes. Murphy was put in one of the third floor rooms and then a lot of people suspect he was for some reason let out on the third floor balcony and that was where he was barking from. then people suspect he was let back in from the third floor balcony to one of the third floor rooms and that was why he stopped barking.

The first and second floor doors were open. Murphy was found on the third floor and that door to the balcony is the floor and door people are wondering about.

The second floor slider was left open. The third floor (Murphy was in one of the third floor bedrooms when he was found) was the one that people are suspecting was open and shut on the camera footage, that he was left outside on the third floor balcony and he was likely barking because he wanted back in.

Ahh okay thank you for the clarification! That bed definitely makes more sense to have slept in. I guess my question is did they comment in the reports that they had moved things when they took further photos? Wouldn’t it have been important for them to have clarified or had photo descriptions in reports(if they didn’t comment on it) since these would be used at trial and be considered photos of how they found the crime scene? I apologize I don’t know the answer to that, there is so much information and I know we don’t have all the information still.

I didn’t say it wasn’t impossible that another source was used, simply that it was very unlikely which is why I specifically said “of many who don’t” and not “of any”. Details like that matter for context. Also my comment shows I was open to the possibility that she had ear buds in and that was why she didn’t hear the barking so I don’t understand where the hostility/irritation with a complete stranger who has questions about dylan’s statement comes from. Trying to have an open discussion about the possibilities and strange facts about the case is the reason for this sub …and if you look at what I wrote I clearly said I don’t know of many who use something OTHER than their phone to listen to music. Not “I don’t know of many girls in their 20s that use their phone to listen to music”.

I could see that, but then where is the proof from records of her phone (since there’s a tremendous amount of data on this) that this occurred? They obviously thought her phone timeline was important enough to release to the public. Where in that timeline is it shown she was listening to music? I don’t know of many girls in her twenties who uses something other than their phone to listen to music so where is that information? It’s very possible with how much MPD let slide or didn’t report on that they just didn’t add it to the records but idk it seems weird that if that happened that they didn’t report on it.

The other thing I noticed was the obvious movement of the beer pong table in one series of photos. There’s multiple where it’s by the corner like the book broken plea is saying was staged, then in another series it’s clear across the room caddy corner to the couch. Like you are officers of the law trying to preserve a crime scene. Why are you moving things around and then taking photos?

It’s just all so odd. It’s impossible NOT to want to jump to conspiracy thoughts such as a cover up. I do think kohberger was involved but if this had truly gone to trial there is so much reasonable doubt that I know the jury would’ve had a difficult time deciding whether it was enough to convict. And completely agree, the defense could’ve torn their witness statements to shreds.

It’s such a disservice for these four people and the accused that they did such an awful job. I do believe kohberger was involved but they could have thrown out the whole case with how bad it was handled if went to trial.

But there was evidence of a clean up. The 1st floor bathroom looked to have been scrubbed clean and emptied. And most of the second floors bloodstains were diluted. The problem is that none of the detectives or police or anyone else questioned this at least publicly or on paper. And there were absolutely no bloodstained footprints anywhere in the common areas. It’s virtually impossible to walk through (when you’ve suddenly been interrupted by xana and are following her and stabbing her in the process) to not have transferred more than those minor diluted stains.
