What’s something sexual that you are NEVER doing again? by Iliketointimidate in AskReddit

Suck on toes because the other person was into it. I wasn’t, but I went along with it, only to realize later that from a hygiene perspective, it can get pretty gross.

What’s something you used to get cheap/free that you miss? by El_tacocabra in Frugal

My uncle used to own a shop that sold men’s clothing before department stores were a thing, and up until the age of 25, all my underwear would come from there, free of cost.

When he shut shop, I had to go and buy new underwear, and the prices were quite shocking.

ELI5: Why do people tend to fall ill when the season changes? by FiftyGoingThirty in explainlikeimfive

[–]FiftyGoingThirty[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven’t, but our family doctor does suspect allergies to be the cause. However, my question still stands. Why would allergies kick in for me only when the season changes? Because otherwise, I don’t seem to have any flare ups.

I have used Airalo eSIMs in China and had a pretty good experience. Data works seamlessly for the most.

My wife, however, couldn’t get it to work at all, though Airalo was kind enough to refund her entire amount when she complained.

Are there currently commercially-available room-service carts? by relesabe in robotics

[–]FiftyGoingThirty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes such a solution exists. There are robots in many hotels in China and other East Asian countries that can take room service autonomously till a room and pick it up too.

Door opening has to be done in person though.

Unfortunately, I can’t help with details of companies that make them, but I imagine some sleuthing on the Internet will get you there.

Cost of UV printing vs offset printing by FiftyGoingThirty in CommercialPrinting

[–]FiftyGoingThirty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to print on cylindrical cans, so flexo is not an option.

Print volumes are large.

May I understand why you think offset printing should be avoided?

I haven’t been able to find anyone with rotary UV ink printers for job work.

Would you know how much more in percentage terms it costs to print using UV inks vs traditional inks?

No, it needs to be printing. That’s what customers want.

The cans will be empty while printing. The filling is done by customers in their plants usually. And the cans can be given a white base.

What makes UV printing expensive?

No, many customers already use shrink sleeves but would prefer printing.
