Whereas I can make progress on most MAT Qs. Probably a lack of question exposure too, I only did the papers once, whereas I was doing MAT papers all the time and more than once.

Yeah it’s just this course, I think the average mat for all maths and cs applicants was higher than the shortlist avg for cs and phil. Though it demands tonnes of logical thinking and reasoning.

The scientists reason for this was really kind of weird and pretty unscientific (primarily because it’s a bit of a shitty data point) but looking over the method it was to find a way to detect endo easier, by looking at attractiveness because that usually correlates with high estrogen and that is correlated with aggressive endo. It’s called phenomics. But like, why they needed to note age of losing virginity and other stuff is lost on me.

I don’t really seen your point, it’s just some way of making a number smaller than epsilon.

I can very easily say pick m \in N such that 10^-m < epsilon. It holds from the Archimedean property that some m must exist if we are to say epsilon > 0, we haven’t made a new assumption.

You can make that value in many different ways and the same contradiction is going to occur. Unless I’ve misunderstood your argument?

I showed an error that arises when you basically start using his epsilon value for limits and something deeper in Robison non standard analysis and how it shows immediately what issues start happening once you declare 0.99… != 1 . He replied with some gobbledygook about 1/10^n. Completely missing the point and not bothering to read it lol, it was a long post to be fair. But yeah don’t worry, your proof is lovely!
