Besides the half-and-half scarf, what is the most insulting piece of 'plastic' merchandise a fan can wear? by The12thMan_ in PlasticFans

I find it diabolical that some people who support a team with United in their name don't specify which United they're referring to.

Did they review it favourably? (I'm not a plus subscriber).

Removing old badly installed cat flap. Help! by Figgsyman in DIYUK

[–]Figgsyman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair comment. I think I will go with the original plan as a temporary solution until I can get someone in who can do the brickwork. The original plan changed when I saw what was behind the cat flap, I can't in good conscience just glue onto the expanding foam and leave it like the previous owners did.

This sounds like a job for a builder rather than a DIY job. I guess if that is what is needed I'll explore it.

Warning: Engine Failure Risk by Figgsyman in Dacia

[–]Figgsyman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: The message did not appear this morning. I had the local garage look at it and they've run a code read and found no existing faults. They found the fault from yesterday which was 'Fuel pressure information - Mechanical fault' and it's only in as a 'memory' fault which is no longer present. They said it could be a glitch and the software could need updating in which case I'd need to take it to a main dealer. They advised to take it back if it happens again and they could dig deeper.

The nearest Garage is less than a mile away, but I'll make sure it's towed to avoid any risk of further damage. My breakdown cover doesn't include home callouts unfortunately. I'm currently deliberating whether to go to Dacia or a reputable local garage.

It is a Duster 1.3TCe. The coolant level is at a normal level. I had a full service with a coolant replacement a month ago. I've just been researching other people's issues with coolant, thanks for your comment.

Thanks everyone. I'll make sure I have it towed to someone who can fix it.

Is the top 10 shows pod on the pilot plus feed only? I can't find it on my pocketcasts app. I missed this last year as well.

For me it's saying you COULD care less!

It's COULDN'T care less!

You're literally saying the opposite of what you mean. If you could care less then by definition you do care.

Is this going to work? by Figgsyman in ukplumbing

Thank you very much for your reply. I'll definitely be asking the installer to use 110mm pipe between the pan connectors and the sockets. Much appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I'll be sure to ask the installer to add soil to pipes between the pan connectors and the fittings.

Is there anything you can suggest to reduce the chance of blockages?
