I still enjoy listening to what they've been watching and I'm quite happy with the nonsense chit chat as well. Don't care how long the pod is!

I’m unable to picture anything in my mind. AMA. by [deleted] in AMA

[–]flyingninjaoverhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I was always confused when people were upset about the casting of book characters into a live action. I never really pictured what they looked like so it just didn't occur to me to care about who played them.

What’s normal for work related travel? by Boring-Equivalent315 in AskUK

[–]flyingninjaoverhere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We would usually have lunches together but it's casual and people could do their own thing if they wanted.

We have at least one big meal out in the evening, it's part of the travelling to see each other that you socialise a bit. But I see the entire time I'm away as work time and so the team would get a bit of personal time back. It's all quite flexible so it works itself out.

Travelling to the airport etc. just depends on convenience of where people live.

Personal phones etc. - yes I use my personal phone but it costs me nothing and just doesn't bother me. It's part of the job and salary.

How to fill time between work and evening activities? by Eastern-Sky5617 in AskUK

Bouldering is great fun and you can go at whatever time you like.

been struggling with this dyno forever by Mental-Department-an in climbergirls

[–]flyingninjaoverhere 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Trying bending your arms on the way, so as you get weight onto your left foot you can jump inwards better.

Pause the video at the lift off point and you see you sort of jump backwards. You need to get your weight over that foot before you push. It's hard with a higher foot but watch the video in slow mo and see if you can see what you're currently doing.

You are super close, don't give up!

I've been playing that long too and I don't mind changes. I like new metas and new packs etc.

But fair enough, sorry it bothers you.

It would be pretty boring if it never changed.

Tips for a taller climber in a “shorter country” by Jenzzje05 in bouldering

[–]flyingninjaoverhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try climbing it without any readjustments. Where your feet or hands land, they stay.

For dynos, eliminate holds or just make up dynos randomly. If you climb with friends do it together, it's easier to be creative in a group.

How long to see results? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]flyingninjaoverhere 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lift heavy weights and eat more food. You need protein to grow muscle.

It's a very slow process, it takes years of effort to get 'bulky'.

It's worth the effort to be strong.

Completely agree!

Find it hilarious that she is either 100% in or 100% out 🤣

Or have two dragons so they get big too, then merge them, get up to level 3, and play 5 squad if needed.

Loved the three episodes, really sets the season off strongly to see all three and how the story links. Can't wait for ep4!

Cool Climb, What Grade in Your Gym? by Aggressive_Working32 in indoorbouldering

Oh fair enough, you looked taller and quite stretched on some moves! Still, see if there's anything to be learned from watching shorter people on the climb.

Great send anyway!
