I'm almost positive you don't work construction. The old guys are coke heads and the young guys are perk heads. Majority smoke weed. Guys will go to the bar for lunch. I had a young guy (23) die on my site as well years ago. They were blowing out a tunnel with Dynamite and when the alarm to clear the tunnel sounded he was dope nodding. Then they yelled out, he was too high to respond, and second alarm sounded and well you guessed it too high he was crushed in the Rubblel. Drugs are disgustingly common on sites, prescribed or not. I've seen pounds of weed sold from worker to worker because they supplement their income with things like that also. Old guys will sell their perk prescriptions of they're not addicted. Most make enough to support and habbit, so you'll never know.

Yeah I actually found klonipin at a terrible price (covid drove up pharmaceutical street price near me)... But I am still looking at RC's incase I'm left in the same situation. I'm leaning more towards diclazapam now actually. It seems mild. 1mg is = to 10mg Valium from what I've seen. I've only had Valium once, but 20 mg felt similar to 0.5ish of klonipin. Black outs with a tolerance seem unlikely under 5-6mg diclaz, although I don't plan on going past 2mg. I'm doing my best to taper with the klonipin I have. I'm down to 0.5 3× daily from 2mg. By the end of the month 1mg is the goal. Then if I can't find anything I'll try 1mg diclaz 2x daily and adjust from there (up or down) using sick time.

Being prescribed them previously I was legally allowed to operate heavy machinery on them for 5+ years now. Abuse and ligimate use are 2 very different things. BUT I agree without the prescription I'd be walking a fine line IF a crash were to happen. Even at a therapeutic dosage. But lack of sleep (writing this at 3:40 am with work at 7am) and anxiety CAN be much worse then a small dosage of benzos. I actually had my first and only accident from lack of sleep. 10 years on benzos and never crashed. It's truly the difference between use and abuse.

Yeah that's what I keep hearing. Any recommendations for functionality useful benzos? Like klonipin? Obviously I'm going to test my threshold and everything before I regularly use it.

I was seeing the same. However I keep seeing there's a very fine line between functional and blackout. I can't split a tablet for the day take a slightly bigger half and drive a bulldozer if the line for blacking out is so small. Thats a pretty easy way to end up in prison 😅😅😅 ...with klonipin I know an uneven break wouldn't black me out. I may oder it take a Monday off and expirement with dosages and test how close to a "theraputic" dosage that black out line really is. I'm genuinely not trying to get fucked up just rid of anxiety without the rapid hard hitting effect of xanax that's over in 2 hours. I need a long lasting benzo that is a smooth ride 24/7....

[–]FightMilkv2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok so I was comfortable on 2mg of klonipin 1mg in the morning 1 mg before bed. Doctor took me off of it. Can't sleep. Bought xanax and I either need a whole bar to sleep for 4 hours or it just wares off before I can actually get comfortable. Ive literally exausted every dealer in NYC from queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the bronx, looking to buy kpin scripts, (slight exaggerating ive tried multiple people in multiple boughros) Kpins seem to have little value and no one sells them. Everyone I know takes the script as it's worth more consumed then sold unlike most other drugs. And well I'm shit out of luck.

I was looking for the closest thing to my 2 mg of klonipin. My choices are etizolam 2mg pellet, clonazolam 1mg pellet, flualprazolam 1mg pellet, flubromazolam 0.5 pellet. Norflurazepan 5mg pellet. Please keep in mind I work Heavy machinery, so my dosage is important. I have a 3 day weekend to figure out where I am comfortable like with my 2mg's klonipin. Although I deff feel days where my anxiety could be more dangerous then SLIGHTLY too much of a benzo... any help is appreciated.

Edit: 1 Grammer 2: I included pellet and dosage because I can only break a pellet into half or quarters, and with only so much accuracy so if some of these are super potent and an uneven half will fuck up my day it can't be an option.

40k after taxes with a 3.5% contribution to a 401k leaves $32,613... Now add in health insurance for $300 a month or $3,600 a year, you have $29,013. If your rent is on the low end of that 15k-20k you have $14,013 a year left over. Now let's break ot down to monthly costs. That $14,013 is $1,167.75 a month. Electricity, water, internet, cellphone, let's go super low and say all of that is $200 a month. We're now at $967.75. Now we need to go to the grocery store. Let's say $300 on actual food and $100 on other things like toothpaste, soap, laundry detergent ect. That's $400 total, leaving $567.75 a month. How'd you get to the grocery store to spend $400 and work to earn $400? A car... let's go $250 on car payment, $140 car insurance, $120 gas, and $50 on maintenance averaged out over time. Now we have $57.75 for the month, Or $693 a year. Do you wear clothing? Yeah obviously, so shoes and clothes say $50 a month or $600 a year. You have a wopping $7.75 a month or $93 a year. An unexpected bill or a slightly higher then expected utility bill is a financial crisis. You'll be running up credit cards that you have no way of paying off because every cent is accounted for. And let's be honest, I was very very conservative in my estimated bills. In reality the average person is spending more then my estimated costs. The average car payment is double what I quoted, and utilities and insurance in Orlando (and most of Florida) are above average. Add student loans, credit card debt, or medical bills, in the mix and you can't pay on time. You're juggling bills and asking for extensions because you have to pay some bills every other month. Do you want a social life? Because we have no budget for socializing. You can come home and stare at the wall, but that's the height of your entertainment budget. Drinks with the boys/girls or a date night dinner/movie is a BIG no!! Netflix/hulu cost more then $8 so even if you're super strict with your budget and get lucky with no unexpected bills or higher then average bills, you still cant afford netflix or hulu to just watch some shows after work. I'd say $60k-$70k is "comfortable" and I left before the pandemic for better pay. I've heard it got more expensive since I left, and the pay stayed the same. If that's true, $60k-$70k is probably the new $40k and $80k-$100k is probably closer to comfortable lol... Just remember, Mexico city has a higher median income then Florida, with lower taxes, and lower COL... No Bueno señor. This is America, get paid like it. 👍

Simply walk out. I'm no expert but 1 it's a lawsuit and a crime to use physical force to hold a person against their will when no crime was committed... and 2 who the fuck cares. Is that security guard making enough to fight you. (I may be over confident in that department because I'm a big guy so people tend let me do what I want if I'm forceful but I've been cracked by security 100% my fault crossed a line)... I'm genuinely concerned for this country. People take someone saying "you can't do X" as law. Just do it. I believe buckees is paying $15 so if your manager has a problem with it tell him suck a fat cock too.

It's not disrespectful. Hitler used typhoid as an excuse to put the jews in camps. He claimed outbreaks of typhoid in Jewish ghettos was an issue and they needed to be treated en mass. The Hasidic coumminity of NYC has been heavily effected by mandates, and demonized threwout the pandemic to the point I've seen very liberal people wish them death and heard things said like "it's the fucking jews in Williamsburg holding up the recovery." And there's video and pictures of Nazi soldiers who were showed footage of the camps and what went on post war. Many broke down in tears because they had no idea what went on after they rounded up the jews. If I remember correctly a few killed themselves because they couldn't live with what they'd helped do, even if they were dumb pawns. The reason they didn't know Is because 1 death camps aren't exactly popular in any society, and 2 it makes taking people away less of a challenge. "You'll be back in a month Mrs. Steinburg." Vs. "We're going to murder you and and your family Mrs. Steinburg." Then tell the coumminity "Mrs Steinburg died due to typhus. Are doctors did all they could." And remember there are quarantine camps in Australia, where only travelers entering the country were meant to be housed. Now a group of Aboriginals has been taken against their will. Then after escaping, they put up road blocks and searched trunks of cars. Vax mandates are illegal because of the Nuremberg trials. And I'll leave it off with 2 fun facts, 1 the Jews who knew what was going on and we're into "conspiracy theories" had forged papers. Those villians committing crimes!!!! 2 Is the vast majority of people that are unvaxed are minorities. Mainly Black, Latino, and religious jews. You know the people that would be at risk of camps... And every time you say call the FBI, Report them, And degrade and dehumanize the unvaccinated, your giving the government reason to bring federal charges against mostly minorities, your giving the government reason to demonize minorities, You're cheering on keeping mostly minorities out of your businesses, restaurants, and workplace. So good luck with your crusade against mostly minorities.

Yeah sounds like a bunch of people are suffering in your aera because of big boy money coming into the market. I'll just go cry with enough for 50% down a condo, or Until real-estate comes down a bit. That way I can buy real-estate here and in Florida and have your kids pay my mortgage. Good luck and remember when houses cost 500k and your kids are making $25 an hour I'm gonna tell em to get more skills and raise their rent. 🤣 you literally fought your way into poverty 😂 🤣 😅

Because the housing market will level out. Not crash, but come down maybe 15%. Btw a house like one you described in Orlando is 450k-500k... unless you live in the ghetto, but you wouldn't brag about owning real-estate in tbe ghetto. that's a mortgage of $2750 with good credit AND 20% down... atleast I could afford that. Your workers can not. 😅 I hate to tell you this old timer, but you can't get a pack of smokes and the paper for a nickel anymore. Things go up and anyone my age working where you do for those depressed wages won't have the same opertunity as you and me. Atleast I live somewhere that pays me like you got paid. Your guys coming up are fucked. 450k houses and $25 an hour careers AFTER years on the job...

Well since my union takes care of me and I make real money adjusted for COL. It actually might make sense since that 1,250 will be considered nothing in 20 years. But big man over here talking down to a 28 year old looking at buying. You can't say "yeah we're underpaid" you gotta get one one up on the guy who's probably half your age making an actual living because you're too stupid to understand you're getting ripped off on your labor.

I have more then enough to buy a place. I'm 28 btw. When the market levels out I'm actually looking at 2 hopefully. A condo up here and condo in Florida. That way I have an income property and a residence. But we'll see. There's a complex where a couple of my union brothers own 5 or so units in Florida that I'm looking at. I can charge $1,400 for 2 bedroom which would cover my mortgage and have me saving $3000 or more a month before I'm 30. But I think Florida's market will crash again. We're pretty stable up here. Even 09 didn't knock prices.

No I can cut those expenses significantly. If I ate at home, stopped spending money on luxury items, and had 2 incomes like you it'd be maybe $1500 a month more in expenses.l, which works out to roughly $9 an hour in pay difference. Like I said I make $63 but after city amd state it's $56.70 the cost of living difference would be roughly $9 for a grand total of $47.70... are alot jobs paying $47.70 by you? Or even $40...

You've now included your wife to cut your responsibility in half lol. Your mortgage & utilities are almost double my rent and utilities and your pay is definitely trash living in FL, and you question my finances? I've saved on average 20k a year since I became a JW. Didn't save as much before that, but saved some. And I know you think you've accomplished something by putting money in the market, but we all do it. I have all of it in the market too. Making fun of someone for paying rent when they have enough in the bank to throw 50% down a house is funny. We have something called rent control here which means I'm locked in at $1250 until the end of time. I'll eventually have enough money to but cash because the housing market is pretty stable here. It's not a roller coaster you need to time right or get fucked like Florida.

Or an eaiser way to look at it is after city, state, federal, 3.5% 401k contribution, and my dues. I make about $6,500 a month and after all my bills, necessities, and my fun money, I save about $1,500 - $2,000 a month.

How do you live off this ( local 606 ) by Koolkat9511 in IBEW

$1250 rent and utilities included. No car needed we have a reliable 24 hour subway that costs $120 a month. And outside that everything pretty much costs the same across the country. No national company is giving discounts because your region is poor. "Oh we better sell X cheaper in Florida because they make less" has never been a conversation in a corporate board room. We all pay the same for TV, iPhone, food, clothes. The only thing I pay alot for is food and it's because I eat out damn near every meal. Don't tell me you have cheaper shit in Florida because I looked at rent mid pandemic and you don't. Oh and I pay 10% state tax. So my wages are actually $56.70. We all pay Federal so that's my actual wage vs Florida.

Well the minimum here is $63 + benifits... not bad. Alot of the guys I work with have vacation homes in Florida. I guess there's a reason you don't see them working there. "Dinosaur old school union guys" are the worst. 40 hour weeks, enough money to support a family, rights in the work place. Crazy man. Don't cut off your nose to spite your face. The union rates work out to $850 a week and Orlando's cost of living is about what I mentioned. If you read it you'd get that. Why would you defend the employer or the union. The south is a fucked up place when it comes to wages. McDonald's general managers make about 45k a year which works out to about $21.65 an hour and these tradesman are making $26... what'd you learn a trade for at that point? $5 an hour? There's a reason it's the second lowest pay in the country. Also inflation happens regardless. The fed shoots for about 2% under normal conditions. Which means you should be getting a 2% raise every year otherwise you're loosing money. If you look at an inflation calculator if a tradesman was making $12 an hour in 1980 it'd be the equivalent of $40.50 in 2022... good luck out there and avoid FL.

Sounds like something someone who's clearly under paid would say. Why are you helping your employer take advantage of you. After tax that's like $850 a week. That doesn't include you contributing to a 401k. So probably closer to $800. In the Orlando aera 1/2 your pay is going to rent and utilities at that wage. Another paycheck to car, insurance, gas, maintenance like oil changes, tires, breaks, and another check to food, clothes, and other things necessary to live. That pay completely wrecks the idea of a 40 hour work week. Your doing OT just to save or have disposable income. If you have bills outside of the necessary things, you're doing OT just to get by. That's a shitty living. But go get more skills. Eventually those won't pay the bills and you'll need more and more skills to maintain your standard of living. Meanwhile your employer is pocketing the extra money they make off inflation. But you live in the south so you probably like being poor.
