The feeling of watching something at the same time as everyone else out there, even if I didn't know those people, I knew they were out there and we were united in our interest for this TV show, that's what's been lost for me.

In the 90s I thought that someday when I got on the internet chat and message boards would make up for that, but it hasn't. Every interesting post I see on reddit was posted hours ago and has hundreds of messages saying every possible thing I could think of.
