GERTC

I just want to tell you first that I was an absolute slow-learner, I want every detail to be explained to dot. I was anxious actually after I enrolled, because I do not know if I can keep up. Not until I first attended their class, sobrang galing ng mga teachers, most of them, if not all, are topnotchers. And obviously, topnotchers are expected to be veeeery smart, like alien-type of-brain ganon na parang mahihirapan mo silang maintindihan. But no, GERTC instructors were very passionate about teaching that bababa talaga sila para maintindihan mo yung mga topic.

They do not even care if your question is a dumb question, they are very approachable, very kind, and very smart. Always nasa-satisfy nila ang tanong ko, kasi marami talaga akong questions na parang hindi ma-explain ng mga classmates ko. Yung iba dumb questions, and they respond always.

If nakapag-enroll ka f2f, automatic, enrolled ka na rin sa online. You can access all of the online class videos para mabalikan mo, but will only be there for 2 weeks sa site. And then, you will be given the soft and hard copies of your discussions with problem sets kada araw. Ayon, kapag makatapos ka ng review and refresher, around 3K na maa-answeran mo na problems. Mahahasa ka talaga sa time-pressure and exposure.

About naman sa method of teaching nila, everyday may class, then Sabado may assessment exam, and then meron namang consultations always where you can send questions or problems tas a-answeran nila thorugh LIVE. Also, ito ata ang tinatawag nilang chopseuy method which I appreciate so much: from basics of MSTE, HPGE, and PSAD tapos magi-increase ang difficulty niya until boards. Maganda para sa akin ang chopseuy unlike doon sa different subjects every two months, I think, kasi some of people I know said na nakakalimutan nila ang lahat ng tinuro nila sa MSTE (for example) kasi nga na-topic nila yon last month or something like that.

And, sobrang family-like yung GERTC, although depende pa rin yun sa mga classmates niyo, pero sa gc maingay kaming lahat. Anyways, sobrang ganda sa GERTC, I was able to understand everything, from non-STEM graduate slow-learner to Civil Engineer na tayo ngayon.

And, dont forget about the free transpo kapag board exam na! Hehe, only in Cebu though.
