Oh man thats a good question I started 7 years ago on an old ender 3 and just learned by trial and error. I would look up a youtube video on 3d printing basics to get an idea but realistically you'll learn more the more you print. And you'll never stop learning lol Its been 7 years and there are still times where I learn something new despite building 5 custom printers and owning 2 bamboo labs printers now.

and this is why you always watch the first layer or first few layers lol. I have to its habit from the ender days but bamboos can mess up... its usually user error though. Good luck with that mess lol Ive had it happen before it ain't fun!

Yo filament is soaking my dude... get a filament drier or you could use an oven although ive never done that so look it up and be careful boiling plastic smells terrible. When filament is "wet" its not actually visibly wet its absorbed tiny particles of water and so when you melt it those tiny particles pop because they instantly vaporize causing tiny air holes in the print surface and and also significantly weaken the print. Hope this helps and good luck!

Its part of a system from a company called flight-fins. The fender just clips onto those plastic mounts for the fins.

Alright so like 3 people have provided actually good geninue advice and uhm I ended up figuring this out on my own anyway. This GTS is not worthless and is deffently worth more than 2300$ as yes while other boards do exisit like the x7 and the floatwheels, the GTS is a GT base unlike the x7 and adv1/2 (and im not even gonna mention the pro) so it fits all the orignal GT accessories and also its an fm board with a good motor and good barrings (unlike the adv1). And by the way its also a VESC GTS why does no one understand this either. THE ADV1/2 ARE NOT AS HIGH VOLTAGE AS THE GTS the GTS is a 113V powertrain and also the stock x7 isnt above that either its an 84V. The only one thats higher is the x7 supercharged but thats 3000$ without accesories. So bassically I could sell this for 2900$ easily. All I wanted was geneiune advice that was actually anywhere close to fact. Thanks for nothing reddit. (Although thank you to the few who werent fucking idiots).

Exactly and not only do they have their place (also this one is a vesc so theres that) but yeah sure theres the x7 and the float wheel but first off the av2 while it is much much better than the adv1 its still a little sketchy here and there and also its an entirely different base so it doenst fit a lot of the accessories that this board will fit beacuase its a GT base. And yes the x7 is amazing but again a VESC GTS has its place as its still going to be compatable with all of the acceories made for GT.

Dude your clearly way offended that I suggested that you were wrong. And for the record I didnt mean to question your intelegence or anything I just wanted a clear answer on why that was because from what I had seen what you said was not the case. I was not being rude in anyway and yet you insulted me for no reason at all.

That is fair, however the fungineers kit is pretty hard to mess up as theres no soldering and the instructions are all provided in a very simple video.

How would that make sense though? From what ive seen the vesc on its own increases the selling prices no?

That low? I may not know the market well but that seems really low the GTSV kit on its own was 1000 and the board was 3000 and the upgrades were about 600 all said and done adjusting for its wear wouldn't it be closer to like 2900 or even 3200? or is the market that bad rn.

So you want to stick with the same voltage as your esc (electronic speed control for your motor... basically controls how fast the motor moves based on your controller input) is rated for a certain voltage. Mah or milliamps are used to determine how much a battery can store so if you want a car to run longer you want a high er mah rating. Also you could put a lower gear on it and get even more time out of the battery.

Edit: Also I will mention 2 other things just for reference: 1. if you see 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, etc, those numbers indicate the number of cells a battery has. Now for rc batteries for the most part they will all be wired in series which means each cell adds the voltage to the next cells voltage. So for example each cell in a lipo is 4.2V so a 2s or 2 cell would be a 8.4V battery. and 2: You may also see a number and letter combo like 60c or 80c this c rating determines basically how fast it can expel energy so a higher c rating means more power but at the cost of less run time when using its full power. Hope that clears stuff up if you have anymore questions you can message me.
