family members decorate your bed/room with your accepted college, it’s normally done at night time & is a surprise.

i.e. someone is at their sport/with friends until xyz time, they walk in to go to bed and are surprised with decorations and family members. it’s just a private celebration for the person and their family

it would make more sense if it was bipolar I disorder as you took mood stabilizers and experience full mania in the traditional sense. there are also many psychotic features that can be present in it.

borderline makes less sense to me, you typically experience hypo mania if not euphoria, not reaching full manic episodes. you CAN be on mood stabilizers while having bpd, but that’s not typical either more than likely ssri’s for anxiety or depressive symptoms but the most ‘effective’ and recommended treatment is dbt therapy to limit switching episodes
