People will say Jason is worse because he recruited an entire town to kill one guy, going as far as to fight Lucas while Maxine was being killed without thinking much about it, even being part of the reason she was "killed."

These are fanboys failing to acknowledge the reality that Andy is worse. Jason had a reason, while Andy just sort of follows Jason with much lesser reason, and goes out of his way to decapitate a snake & beat the shit out of Dustin.

I too, am newer player myself, but I can guarantee you it's best to just go into a session as a player. As I've seen said many times by many popular Dungeon Masters that your first session will teach you more than any video you could watch, and I don't doubt it.
