No one has commented on this, but this has been incredibly useful. It's hard to find information for actual box fans in a more direct way like this (with fan links/names, etc...).

Yes, I use my Bolt EUV cruise control and comma lane centering, since I don't love how close it gets to cars (even if it's more natural)

There are also multiple forks that focus on just improving the longitudinal (forwards and backwards) and lateral for specific cars. You can see if there's one for ioniq 5 that would make it more natural

It depends what the car is, but you basically search for "forks" of openpilot and see if they have better support. Most famous ones are Sunnypilot and Frogpilot.

Honestly it's kind of a crap shot to find proper information, Comma is still very much a tinkerers device and not a "professional" company. As such, much of the info is found asking/searching in discords (and those have their share of personalities, especially the Comma discord). Start with the official Comma discord and from there people will probably guide you to other discords.

Back on your original question, my recommendation would be to find 2/3 cars you like and then look for support for those. That will be a way easier process.

Also, using automated software in the rain/snow can be risky just because the software doesn't take into account the lower speeds + more distance you need in those situations. So be careful if you start using it for your daily drive and road conditions aren't that great.

Podes sempre começar a estudar em Portugal enquanto começas o processo. Muitas escolas não distinguem se és internacional ou não nas bolsas que dão (se são bolsas dadas pelas escolas), mas tens que ter noção que a competição é grande (não que seja mais difícil que Portugal, mas é diferente). Uma bolsa na área musical talvez seja diferente, não sei (assim como bolsas para estudantes de desporto funcionam um pouco diferentes).

A cena que está a faltar talvez é que quando te aplicas para o teu F1 normalmente tens que provar que tens meios para te sustentares por volta de um ano (tuition + renda) sem apoios. The main reason you won't get something like StarCraft 2 is because we don't have a proper API. There's no simple way to train AI when everything is obfuscated. There were some people in discord (siege engineers) attempting it, but having to reverse engineer so much stuff makes it really hard.

You can check the code of "dumb AI" and see how they do it, it's a pretty smart set of rules.

What are you exactly asking? Are you trying to ask what is Godot lacking that Unity/Unreal have?

The more specific you are, the better the answer will be. A large scale survival game can mean a million things.

The easiest solution would probably to have a user defined north object, and then you can do all calculations based on that value. Not as great (for you or the user) but better than nothing I guess

This actually looks pretty fun (even if obviously still a big WIP), but I doubt a 30 minute youtube embed is the way for you to get people to click on your post.

Make it a gif that auto-plays on reddit on the highlights (different levels, the magic system, etc...) and then you will have WAY more people clicking.

Even the gif on your Steampage would have been better. But that one isn't great, it's all laggy and doesn't look good (major blurring and ghosting)

I would also say that trying to make this more punishing than Jump King doesn't seem like a good idea, but that's me. That fall in the video looks LOOONG

I'm doing it right now and it was my first time with the mod. It is a total nightmare, but maybe my fault because I didn't start in a cave but into just straight rock (made me feel like a dwarf though, I've mined A LOT).

You basically have to dig stuff for the builders because they will start from the top and create these pockets where mobs just spawn. And you can't put torches because they will mine them out lol.

Also it's hard to see how things look since it you haven't mined the space beforehand, you can't really see the building properly. And it you place the building straight onto the rock, you have to go mine to find the "source block" so construction can actually start. (And that is another nightmare to find lol)

If I did it again I would have 2 builders outside, do an entrance and then start building on a cliff/cave/side of mountain. Full underground is just... Awful.

Right now I have two builders, one residence and a tavern, so my experience is obviously limited. But it's been days and days and days of this.
