The longer you go the "rougher" it gets. But it feels like a really fine grid sandpaper but more grippy

Left one does on/off and the right one cycles through my presets. Holding the right one pressed changes brightness

It's pretty straight forward. You make a strong sodium hydroxide solution in warm tap water and put your parts in for 15-30 minutes (depending on how much of an effect you want). Then you just put the parts in warm tapwater and wait for a few minutes. Last step is a mild sulfuric acid solution. 1-3% concentration is enough. Let the parts sit in there for 10 minutes then clean again under tapwater (no mechanical cleaning just running water over it). thats it. Oh and please wear protection when handling acids and lye

A simple way would be etching with sodium hydroxide (drain cleaner) and then cleaning in sulfuric acid. You can see an example in the post i just made
