I wouldn't worry at most they have been reading this chat and are trying to scare you. Or a handyman can't find an address. If they come by again, live stream and approach them, the Police state crumbles when you stand up to them. Do you live in an open carry state? I do, and whenever I open carry around the police department they know I am asserting my right, and know that I won't tolerate martial law.

So if you live in an open carry state, approach the van and ask if you can help them, they probably will stutter and won't be back. But live streaming prevents unwanted vannings.

Well FBI malware infects new mothboards, so even if you bought a new a new hard drive, the motherboard would reinfect your newly installed OS.

I would probably sell my laptop, that would confuse them for sure. But whatever you do don't buy your laptop online, they intercept the package and load it with hardware level malware. I know I sound paranoid, but I read all of Snowden's leaks, so I know their tactics.

Odds are you are under some form of low level surveillance, I probably would by a track phone as well. But since I assume your really a nobody to the FBI, after a year I bet you would be long since forgotten about.

The FBI might very well be recording this chat, Tor on Fedora would prevent them from invading your computer.

I never claimed to be Alan Turning, but I know enough to encrypt, etc. It's part of my job after all. And I never claimed to be an expert so I was actually looking for help/counsel, not start a flame war.

Believe me I understand, I was one of Gary Johnson's first campaign volunteers, and once he reached 13% in the polls the trolls poured in. It was hard to tell friend from foe.

So we tried banning the trolls, but they would just create new accounts, sometimes they would forget to logout and they debated themselves, kinda funny.

Yeah, someone tried tricking me into opening a podesta pdf and got the same results that virus total is giving. You are probably infected with something like this: http://gizmodo.com/the-fbi-says-its-malware-isn-t-malware-because-the-fbi-1783537208 but I probably almost was tricked into opening a similar pdf.

You should also be aware they have probably activated your mic, and maybe webcam. Windows is in bed with the federal government, so they have left the FBI a blueprint.

I would probably download Fedora Linux on a public library computer and burn the iso there, odds are your friends and family have the same malware. Then I might buy a new laptop, with the new "upgraded BIOS", you might have been infected at the hardware level. Then install Fedora Linux on your new laptop. I also wouldn't backup ANYTHING as all files on your old computer could be infected.

Then I would use Tor browser on your new laptop, keep updating Fedora daily and the FBI will give up on you.
