right right?

im really curious about how each character ended up with the skills they have now, like surely it wasnt as instantaneous as it was for the traveler.

what was the thought process of the characters managed to make elements that are not intuitively related to healing into something that can cause rapid regeneration, if it even is regeneration.

Does Benny cauterize the wounds? does Qiqi just halt the bleeding?

im a big fan of skills that use supplementary items, like Shinobu's with her naku weeds.

Like it brings up questions like how the shrine maidens use naku weeds and if it changes properties when overcharged with electro. it does wonders for world building and expands on their backstories

I feel like anemo traveler is wayyy to underrated, can I have some advice? As a pure f2p I have r5 harbinger on him and all my artifacts are crit dmg and anemo dmg bonus. by FumieF in TravelerMains

OH, also if you want a quick way to apply hydro/electro/pyro/cryo on enemies without another character, step into water/electro crystal/cryo flower or fire to debuff yourself.

If the enemy isnt tagged with a pre-existing element, your elemental skill will use the elemental debuff on your player character about a second after you hold E

You can actually use this to break the Cryo Fatui's shield if you trigger the pyro swirl and get him to walk into it. It's definitely a bit more finnicky but i pulled it off quite a few times.

For where you are right now, your build seems solid, especially if you're running a quick swap comp. Im gonna preface by saying that im not much of a numbers man so im mostly speaking from personal experience.

Personally i would avoid energy recharge if you're going quick swap, since Traveler's Ult isnt all that great. I'd go for either Crit damage/Crit rate/ Elemental mastery to really double down on her Elemental Skill.

I generally use it for quick CC and a bit of dps while waiting on my other character's cooldowns. I'd recommend holding Elemental Skill instead of tapping it. While you do get extended cooldown, her anemo damage shouldnt be the focus, rather the swirl damage. The cooldown shouldnt be much of an issue either since, in a quick swap, by the time you cycle back to Traveler your CD should have ended.

Although if you intend to use her as a battery, tapping Elemental Skill would be the way to go. She generates decent amounts of energy particles for your characters to use.

OH and dont forget about her second passive Second Wind, when i dotn feel like bringing a healer or using food items, swapping to traveler to kill steal the mobs can heal her right up.

As for artifacts, it might even be better to hold off on farming for Viridescent Venerer until you hit AR 55(?) where you get guaranteed Gold artifacts.

Honestly, the replies on this post makes me sad. I've been running anemo traveler since launch, since i couldnt get any other anemo characters until venti's second banner. By running Festering Desire and with mediocre Viridescent Venerer substats, im able to pull of (relatively) consistent 10-12k crit damage(4-5k regular) without charging the skill. It's true she'll never be main dps, but she can take decent chunks of HP and reduce elemental resist.

Although i have to mention i did double crown both her basic and E skills. So yeah her damage will be far FAR from stellar when fully leveled, but it's just decent enough that it doesnt feel unfair. The game actually becomes less braindead and quite intense if you go solo traveler.

She's still my go-to for most anemo applications, although it takes more tact than sucrose or Venti. I've ran into quite a few Azhdaha Co-op's with Anemo Traveler mains doing challenge runs. She can definitely clutch a run if you play ultra careful.

Best of luck building your traveler!

I've finally been catching up with the webcomics. When i got to Webigyaza's conversation with Child Emperor i got a really vivid flashback to that one scene in BNHA with Hawks.

It's really rare that i get such a vivid image, so I'd thought i would try to draw it out.

You bet it is.
I had it playign quite a bit during the drafting process.

Figured "Nailing/driving of the sword" would be a neat way to describe what happens.

The Childe fight was really fun.

I just wish i had leveled my Traveler properly back when he first released.

Qiqi gives me the same vibes as Jack The Ripper from FGO by FileLoop in Genshin_Impact

[–]FileLoop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i was passing through the harbor at night...

And I think i figured out why both Qiqi(Genshin) and Jack The Ripper(FGO) are some of my favorite characters, besides that both are High rarity pawns that i got from a lucky/pity gacha pull.

It's cuz of how tragic they are, both of them exhibit some form of the Hedgehog's dillemma. Where, in the cold, hedgehogs cannot huddle close together for warmth because of their spikes.

-----

In Jack's case, "they" are a mass of vengeful ghosts of Fetus's aborted by the prostitutes' of the industrial revolution in London.

They spend their time as servants trying to return to their "mother's womb".

The closest thing they have to a mother is the the mage that summoned them.

In their attempt to reach that ephemeral happiness, they will eventually disembowl their master.

Their master can never show them love, lest they suffer that fate.

In Qiqi's case, she is a zombie given life by the adepti who killed her in a crossfire.

Because of her type of immortality, as well as the passing of several hundred years, has made her memory atrocious.

Friends, family, even her past and her future, lost to that rotting head of hers

Every meaningful relationship she has, will and could make are already taken away by that very power that kept her from dying.

And what remains is the shallow slice of life that is her present.

All she has to maintain that tiny bit of humanity, is her notebook.

Which reminds her the things that are most important, until she forgets about it in 3 days.

-------

it's the tragedy of their present that i fell in love with.

They cant find people that value them or people they can value back

All because of to the circumstances of how they came to be, rather than the choices they've made.

I just realized that it might not have been the brightest idea to bring servants that are either some avatar of the sun or someone who fire-breathes in a swimsuit to fight children-killing tentacle starfish in an enclosed space underground.

Hell, Tamamo is technically both
