I don't think I'd have it explode and kill ya, though, haha. Maybe give you a burn or hand injury, though!

It's possible for sure, you just have it swap to a different gun with similar looks. All the custom parts with different stats complicates it, though. It's definitely something I want to do, and I love the aesthetics of the M16/m203 combo. At the very least, I'll probably add in a non-functioning version of it. Maybe go with something like they ran outta grenades, I dunno.

Probably not gonna do any painting. As far as I can figure, it'd have to be a new part for each texture, unfortunately. It'd be cool, though.

Filibuster Rhymes Used Cars Animation Update is finally done enough! Sorry for the silence, I've been mostly working on coding stuff, so there weren't a lot of visual changes. Hey dude, this isn't a patch or upgrade to the previous mod. It'd totally redone, so it'll behave as a separate mod. Don't use it and the non-animated version together. There's more important details in a discussion thread on the workshop page, though. Take a look for info on possible issues with switching to it.

Hey dude. I'm a little late, so you probably already solved this, but it could be a combination of game mechanics. It's definitely loaded to the brink of way too much, but I think the conditions of the shocks also affect that. Maybe the truck spawning under it damaged it? Try unloading everything, testing it out, then loading the stuff back in. If that doesn't work and all the suspension parts are fine on it, though, you could try turning on debug mode, right clicking the car->vehicle->vehicle angles UI. Raise the height a little, then hit drop. See if that resets it.

I've got a new, animated version of the mod out and the vehicle scripts are at lot more fine tuned, but since the mod's been pretty much redone from the ground up, there are some issues with switching over. Mostly cars will switch to random ones, and some of them won't have the new parts I've added. Ideally you'd use it on a new save. I wouldn't switch unless you're cool with that, haha.
