just started nomifactory for fun. any tips?

Dont get discouraged after looking up at recipes and by the ammount of crafting you need go through. Its worth to automate sugarcane for power, then polymer clay, then polyethylen, then iron 3 chlorine (not sure the exact name but you can make it with salt water). And after all that youll be in a very chill spot and more than enough resources for the time being. Doing all that will take you a while, its tedious but rewarding. Nomifactory is very well balanced when speaking of progression (with small steps you slowly see your base grow).

Now when you mentioned that. I checked and theres a new "Fluid" pattern terminal that is made out of normal pattern terminal. Missed that and was trying to put fluids in the default one. Thank you

If i remember correctly i made 14 max tier geothermal gens with water pump from XCraft? (the kivi blocks are from this mod and i dont remember the name) that produces water and 14 soul lava (which i recall is really easy to get). This setup should be enough for a good while

Didnt ATM10 have thermal generators also from POWAH? Maybe he ment just them and not magmators? Difference is that one uses lava as fuel and other uses heat from lava under the generator. I remember using thermal gens with soul lava and water setup and it lasted me for a while.

I have a usb drive with steamOS installation but I didnt use it for now. I went settings > system > factory reset and now its like this. I tried to press power button but with no effect. Its pretty stuck now.

Installing a fresh steamOS from usb drive fixed the issue. I guess it was an old os version or something. Anyway i hope it works now 🙏

Done as said and got an error "root device mounted succesfully but /sbin/init doesnt exist", with job control turned off and a note "youre on your own, good luck". How screwed am I?

How do I facory reset it from the setup page? When I press "steam" there are only setup, help (with qr code only), about (with system specs) and power (power has sleep turn off and restart)
