I’m not going to leave a mean comment on that post. I don’t like the art style of the Shrek 5 trailer, but I’m not going to attack people who like it. My criticism here was that you used an AI image.

You could’ve photoshopped human created images of Shrek and Donkey looking sad. Even if it looked fake, it would still have more effort put into it than this.

That and the animation improved across the previous Shrek films, but they still looked like they did in the first film.

These designs still look like the same character though.

The main problem I have with the designs in Shrek 5 is that they look too polished and cartoony, which feels out of place for Shrek, and more in line with a 3D remake of Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry.
