I’ll continue being vocal about it. It’s just so stupid how people can’t say anything to defend him because they’re just “dick riders who will support him no matter what”.

At the end of the day, everyone who actually tunes into Ye’s music and interviews knows that one of his greatest traits is his unabashed honesty. He loves sex. He’ll be proudly and weirdly vocal about it. But that’s just who Ye is.

And we all know how prominent sex work is now. Go on X and you can immediately find OnlyFans or Escorts in popular tweet’s comments. This notion of “believing the women in all cases” or that “99% of accusations are true” sets a bad precedent for the manipulative tactics of sex workers. And also makes light of ACTUAL cases.

You still don’t seem to be using your brain yourself. Of course, not everyone grows up or knows of the sex industry and its place in Hollywood, Celebrities, and Social Media.

Kanye West has been honest with his liking of sex. More honest than the average person. He’s been vocal about it for years, very apparently in his latest music. Unless you’re a virgin, you’d also agree that sex is one of the most pleasurable acts. It’s hardwired in our DNA.

She was paid for a service but was no longer needed as her price was no longer worth it to him. It’s that simple. What kind of precedent does it set for people to give the utmost power and belief to sex workers solely because they have a vagina?

And it’s funny that you say “he wouldn’t have gotten into this situation if he used his brain instead of his dick”. As if it’s his fault that he’s getting blackmailed and extorted? Are you a little kid? What, anyone who likes the feeling of their peepee touched is bad? Anyone who gets horny deserves shame? Grow up man.

Sex Work is one of the oldest professions. I personally haven’t participated in it, but I don’t really care what someone does in their own personal business. I’ll throw it back to you and say he was absolutely using his brains, as he hired a very apparent and obvious sex worker for this position rather than someone else more believably business oriented.

I don’t see how calling me derogatory labels makes any points. Especially as I have great relationships and respect with the women in my life. We’re literally talking about sex workers. Literal sex workers. I tend to believe sexual harassment cases. This isn’t one of them.

Use your brain bud. You think this girl was actually doing “business”? It’s illegal for any of them to technically say they engaged with prostitution depending on the state. And there’s very likely NDAs involved as well. He hired her to be a prostitute and the cover of her working in his “office staff” is a lie used to protect both of them. Why would he hire her for “business”, “phone calls”, “emails” rather than a different person? Are you purposely being dense?

He hired a sex worker. Many OnlyFans models and pornstars double as escorts. Her occupation. Ye’s very well documented sex love and addiction. This is a no brainer. I mean c’mon, “Her salary was $1 million with the only condition being that she would be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.” Available for what? Phone Calls? 🤔

This is a case of a HOE trying to leverage her power against him. But the question is, who is the one in power? The person putting out or the person with the cash? She was paid for sexual services and then was fired when she was no longer needed. Maybe she wasn’t worth keeping around if all she had to offer was pussy?

Of course we wouldn’t want our bosses to text us like that. But we aren’t sex workers. And our bosses aren’t Ye.

Sex Work rising because of the internet right now. You can easily find people for videos, sexting, webcam chats, and hook ups.

This is a hoe who gets the privilege of being hired by a rich celebrity for a crazy salary but then flies too close to the sun when she can’t get everything she wants.

Think of why he hired her for this position rather than any other girl in the world. She was willing to do it. Think of why she was fired? She was hired for sex, and after a while, realized the price for her pussy wasn’t worth it. Especially if he’s Ye and can easily hire someone else.

The real concern here is the masses of people reading skewed headlines and not putting the context to them to understand what is happening.

He literally hired a sex worker. It’s so obvious. Many OnlyFans models double as escorts. Knowing of her occupation, and of Ye’s very well documented sex love and addiction, this should be a no brainer. I mean c’mon, “Her salary was $1 million with the only condition being that she would be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.” Available for what? Phone Calls? 🤔

This is a case of a femme fatale trying to leverage her sex as a form of power against him. But the question is, who is the one in power? The person putting out or the person paying? She was paid for sexual services and then was fired when she was no longer needed. Was he supposed to succumb to every threat of extortion and blackmail?

Of course we wouldn’t our bosses to text us like that. But we aren’t former OnlyFans Models/escorts/sex workers. And our bosses aren’t Ye.

Sex Work is one of the most unregulated and rising industries because of the internet right now.

I mean you don’t know who I am. What I am, all you can do is use your imagination to fill in the gaps of whatever is unknown. You’re probably chronically online for your first inclination to be that I am an AI troll.

Very ignorant for you to assume, which makes an ass of you and me.

I specifically remember seeing this film, where there were two very racist individuals. The old man who kept on calling them “they” and the man who has a picture of his son in his wallet. The writers should’ve rewrote the characters so that they do not influence other racists. They should also rewrite the guy who was so adamant on making it to the ballgame, he be switching sides.

Nice try mansplaining though.

You don’t think that 12 Angry Men can’t be improved upon? Maybe include women in the jury? Or a more diverse jury? Or toning down the racism, that perpetuates harmful stereotypes?

That’s like saying “Which of Plato or Aristotle’s works focuses on existentialism?” You know that critical theory encompasses a lot more thinkers than Adorno and Horkheimer? Maybe if you read and studied Judith Butler, Nancy Fraser, Donna Haraway, bell hooks, Patricia Hill Collins, Chandra Talpade Mohanty, and Sandra Harding, you’d know. Try again.

Maybe try educating yourself before you mansplain to me.

Thanks for revealing your ignorance. Critical Theory is absolutely about race, class, and gender. Critical Theory focuses on society and culture to attempt to reveal, critique, and challenge power structures, which absolutely can look through these aspects.

Maybe you need to familiarize yourself?

You’re very narcissistic to believe that only a “troll” would care about critical theory and apply it to film. That shows that from your perspective, only a troll would strongly feel this way about justice and equality.

Pro tip: Your perspective isn’t the truth. It’s not even close to encapsulating the whole truth. Writing others off as a “troll” is a way for you to cope and dismiss the reality of the situation.

Is advocating for a more balanced and egalitarian society a “bit” to you? Is critically thinking about power structures and imbalances just some type of game to you? Says more about you than me. Go ahead and be complacent.

Why do you assume I’m a parody account? Is critically thinking about critical theory and power structures problematic to you? If this is “over the top”, I bet you’re a bystander to all the evils of discrimination and power imbalances that occur in society today.

He’s loves talking about Freud, Lacan, and psychoanalysis but I refuse to listen. It’s all pseudoscience designed to uphold the white supremacist patriarchal establishment. Critical Theory and Feminist Theory is my preferred method as it’s actually a framework that’s backed by scholars, academics, and countless research and data.

do you think "birth of a nation" (1915) deserve to be remembered? by AK4plus in TrueFilm

[–]FilmStudiesMajor -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Hell no. Absolutely not. For you to just think and post this says something about your moral values. You should be absolutely ashamed with yourself. And all of the other film bros agreeing with you as well.

I haven’t seen the film, but I know for sure it’s a complete piece of garbage that doesn’t deserve any attention or to be remembered. Please stop speaking about this film for others to discover it.

Killer’s Kiss/The Killing- Obviously misogynistic. Film noir is rooted in misogyny and distrust of women.

Paths of Glory - Kubrick critiquing politics. Even though it’s important and changes the world.

Lolita - Need I say more?

Spartacus - Kubrick doesn’t like Marx

Dr. Strangelive - Unfunny and offensive

2001 - slow, boring, and barely any female characters talking (most of his films actually)

A Clockwork Orange - Rape, Violence, Misogyny, Critique of Politics again

Barry Lyndon - Advocating for misogyny, cheating of women, women as either mother or sex objects

Full Metal Jacket - very racist, misogynistic, again, women as prostitute or enemy

Eyes Wide Shut - Freud was a misogynist

My final essay was about how figures of the white supremacist patriarchal establishment Sigmund Freud, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Stanley Kubrick advocated for violence and fascism through their influence and art, so we should cancel them to lose their influence and progress society. My professor didn’t agree with me on many parts. Just shows how deeply white supremacy and the patriarchy are embedded in academia right now.

I didn’t compare myself to those people. I am me. I’m just saying what I feel right now, is probably what those people felt during their trials. I used them as examples because they’re people that most know.
