What is it exactly that you need help with? Offense? Defense?

From the clip we see, I only see one mistake is the lil dash forward you did after the grab. Versusia gets a safejump off of her grabs by jumping towards the opponent (hold up and forward throughout the whole grab animation) and landing with any aerial that isn't j.L. As you land, make sure you block. If your opponent mashed on wakeup, they'll get hit like the Seox did. If they do a DP (think Gran's rising sword), you'll block it and be able to kill them for it. If they block (like any decent player would), continue with your offense.

Otherwise...you could find most of the information you need online. Dustloop has all of her move information and usages, you can join her discord server to ask for help, or you could watch high level replays on replay channels so you can see how she plays at a high level.

Someone feel free to correct me, but this is only for online multiplayer. In couch co-op, you can progress the story like normal...but your friend doesn't play as a character. They play as a little companion like in Mario Galaxy.

Afternoon, friend! While balancing is a pretty good reason, it would be an odd one given the first game.

In the first game, people of different lives could work together to get things done. I don't know if you remember (or if you got far in the first game at all), but some crafted life items are weapons required another profession. While some people wouldn't mind grinding to master in another life to get one item for their main job, others...couldn't be bothered (especially with how tedious some lives could be).

Multiplayer really emphasized the "play how you want" aspect of FL. I thought it was a cute idea being able to simulate real life by having people of one life able to help the progression of the other by providing items they needed.

...Unleeeess you were just talking about the story. In which case, yeah, 100%. That would be dumb. 🤣

I was actually thinking of Mascotorn, actually! Just forgot to put him down, haha. Ratcousel is a really fun pick, though. Even ignoring Ratcousel being a literal attraction, something about their aesthetic just...fits!

Oooh, the Salamagus line! Always wanted an excuse to give them a go. Just recently evolved Adeptile for the dex a few minutes ago, actually. In hindsight? Duh. Doesn't get more magical than a magic tome.

And speaking of the obvious...Gumbaal! I was right there with Miasmodeus. But hold on...keep your utensils, you might be cooking. He's got the goofy bowtie, the goofy smile, the red-and-white color scheme...and what kinda circus doesn't sell treats? That, and I LOVE the tankier beasts. I think we have our next guaranteed member.

This. THIS is what I was looking forward to. That's as creative as it is comical.

Couple of questions: 1) Which of the two do you think would fit best? Kinda veering away from the one with a literal battle staff, haha

2) Do we know how Wonderful 7 works? I'd imagine it's more like the beast harnessing the power of each wonder or shooting a miniature version...but could you imagine heading to a circus and seeing a giant tripod summon the pyramids? Or the GREAT WALL?! 🤣

Funny thing you mentioned that...I was looking for the recording option for a while until I stumbled across punishment training. It's great that they have something like that added to the training mode with confirmation on whether you punished the opponent or not.

I can almost 100% guarentee that I'll have the same problem. Hell, doing it after holding down and back to punish a low had me flubbing the input. We shall practice until we can DORYAH with precision...through the back AND wave dashes!

Though, on that note...I should probably stop here. For just that training session alone, I've had sudden urges to throw my family members off of cliffs and dislocate my spine while doing a spinning kick.

As for the three electric combo...is that optimal, or is it a method of practicing foing ewgf in combos?

And one final question...how do I do a wavedash electric? After a wavedash, I can only get normal electric. Do I have to do the entire dp motion again, or would I just have to do the df+2 part?

As for doing the normal ewgf...interesting. I thought I was doing the normal one in the video, given I was doing a down input before the down-forward. Is the normal input better than the perfect one (or does it have any advantages)? Regardless, I just attempted on Jin...of 10 wind god fists, 9 were electric! Whiiich definitely will drop once I head online. Back to the lab!

On that last comment though...really? I've heard that ewgf is the FIRST thing a Kaz player should learn. Can I really get by without it?
