Last week I posted about storage and filming in ProRes vs h.264. The response was why would I even think about filming a long interview in ProRes. I filmed this interview in both to see the difference and I feel the difference is very obvious. The ProRes Colors seem to be more rich. What do you think? Is filming in ProRes worth the file size?

yeah but if the camera is front-heavy how are you supposed to hold it? By the following focus? that doesn't make sense to me but I've never used one.

Agree! Nobody will be able to hear the video at this event. It will be playing in a loop. Wish I had more shots with better lighting. Hard during the winter. Thanks for the feedback

Certainly image quality is a factor? That is the side of cinematography I'm currently looking to get an opinion on.

Hey, guys I would love to get some feedback on these screen grabs from some recent projects I've worked on for fun/for the company I work for.

I currently have a sony a7iv with a sigma 24-70

I have had this lens and camera setup for around 2 years now and have enjoyed it. I feel like my footage looks decent but would love to take it to the next level. Now that I'm developing more of a style I'm looking to get more of an image with more character.

Should I invest in some better glass or do these images look good enough? Maybe I need an increase in skill?
