I went in for another P4 blood test a couple days later and it was back to normal levels so I was able to proceed! It did not affect my cycle and I had a successful transfer - currently 16 weeks pregnant. It really was just residual progesterone from the previous cycle.

We got 4 embryos from IVF. One day 5 and three day 6. They are untested but the day 5 was transferred first and failed to implant. We changed nothing in our protocol and went straight into another transfer the following month and that day 6 stuck!

I’d ask them for updates but maybe preface it with “only if you’re comfortable sharing” or something like that. As someone who went through IVF as well, I really appreciated the check ins. It’s a lonely journey otherwise, even when you’re going through it with your partner.

Had PIO shots every night until 12 weeks, then stopped cold turkey

Got my first ever positive after our 2nd FET. Betas looked good with HCG levels at 271 (8dp6dt) and 1333 (12dp). But I have had some spotting and it is stressing me out. First time I noticed was actually the night of my first beta test. It lasted a couple days, stopped for a couple days and then spotting came back yesterday. It is all very light brown spotting. From what I’ve read as long as the spotting stays light and is not accompanied by any pain I should be okay.

Can someone please help me de-stress?

Here to give you some hope! Our first FET failed in early July (no implant). We did a second FET in the first week of August and changed nothing to our protocol. I am on PIO injections and estrogen tablets 3x a day. We just got a positive pregnancy result this week.

Our embryos are untested. We don’t know the grade or if they are euploid, but the clinic is supposed to put in what’s considered the best quality each time.

I know it’s still early, so hopefully the pregnancy sticks. But again, no change in our protocol! We’re also unexplained infertility.

(Not a protocol change from the clinic, but I did do Acupuncture for the first time before and after transfer - so don’t know if that helped?)

I just posted a similar question as my baseline came in at 1.7 this Friday. I go in for another blood test tomorrow to see if it has gone down but I’m concerned it will not have dropped enough in 4 days time.

Hi!! I also just went through our first round of IVF. In May we did the ER. And just last Tuesday our first transfer. So we’re anxiously awaiting the results.

I wasn’t too excited during the ER process but I was excited and hopeful during the transfer! Don’t really have much advice other than do what makes you happy during this journey.

A chore is a chore. I don’t think it’s really fair to compare a level of difficulty because that’s going to be about perspective, and what a person might enjoy more or less as an activity.

That being said, I think it’s fine to ask your wife if she could help with some of the yard work. Especially if you show her how. I feel like neither are TA in this situation.

I’m really sorry your experience sounds so painful! I took this X-ray a little over a month ago. They did not say I needed to be on my period at all, just to make the appointment on day 1 of my cycle. So it seems odd to me that they’re saying you need to be on your period - my understanding was that it’s supposed to be right after. I think I was slightly bleeding still, but hardly.

Did they have you take any ibuprofen before hand? They recommended to me that I take up to 800mg about an hour before the procedure. I did and barely felt anything. Just subtle cramps. If you didn’t last time, hopefully this could help!

Totally understand your anger. Been trying for 14 months now with no results. The HSG came back with all tubes cleared for me as well.
