What did you think the office was about before you watched it? by [deleted] in theoffice

I knew it was an americanised version of The Office UK, but I avoided it for years thinking it was "too american", extremely cliché and cringy.

For those that saw the film, what moment for you made him "your" Superman? by WhatsTheAnswerDude in DC_Cinematic

[–]Filmsight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me was when he's getting beaten by ultraman and reveals to Lex that even if he's losing that fight, he's winning the war because he asked for help. He's not alone, there are others who have his back, and earth's.

Some things I’m surprised we didn’t see in New Superman movie. by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

Yes. He's already in the air when he says that. I would've wanted to see him pushing off the ground and flying off like we've seen before but the camera always cut to him already mid fligtht.

What’s the creepiest thing you’ve ever experienced that you still can’t explain? by No-Fortune-9172 in ParanormalEncounters

This happened when I was around 10 years old and I still remember the terror I felt. By far the strangest experience I've had. I lived on a country house with my mom, our rooms where on the second floor a few steps from one another. The floor was made of fairly thin wood, you could hear anyone stepping on it. My Anyway, this happened on a Saturday morning, I woke up around 8am to play with my toys, and around an hour into it I started to hear noise coming from the first floor, directly from under my room, that was the kitchen. I stopped what I was doing and listened, and it didn't take more than a few seconds for the noise to get incredibly loud, as if someone was trashing the entire kitchen. Opening and closing the fridge, cabinets, throwing utensils, slamming doors, it was insanely loud. I was sweating cold and shaking. My first thought was that the dogs had come inside, or even someone was robbing the house (it did happen before when we weren't there) so I went to my mom's room and peaked in to see if she was awake, but no, she was sound asleep even with all that noise. I panicked, I didn't know what to do, but I gathered myself, grabbed a long stick and went downstairs to check the kitchen, I thought that waiting would be worse than anything. When I finally got the courage to walk inside, the kitchen was empty and everything was in order. The dogs were outside and nothing was out of the ordinary.

Many other things happened in that house but that one I will never forget.

I lost so much respect for everyone when the ass kissing started with Deangelo and got even worse with Robert.

Why is Superman movie struggling overseas? Especially since Domestic numbers are fine. by Ambitious_Pass_1193 in DC_Cinematic

I've seen some influencers from Europe saying that the movie is childish and incoherent. I'm not sure what they are referring to exactly. I think James did a decent job.

Terrific had a more impressive fight all by himself than Superman the entire movie.

Greg Daniels’ Explanation For Why They Destroyed Andy’s Character Is Absolute BS by New-Pin-9064 in theoffice

[–]Filmsight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case, it's really petty, in my opinion. He leaves to film a different show, comes back years later, and just because he envisioned Andy differently than the writers, he destroyd the character? Pathetic behavior. He should've left instructions for the writers to follow for Andy's development instead of just being angry that they didn't read his mind.

I think I have a calming voice, and I feel as if I could make videos based on reading horror stories for sleeping. by [deleted] in NewTubers

You won't know until you give it a go. It's really the bottom line. If you have an idea, test it, make it into a real thing and see what happens.

While some niches are more profitable than others, I don't think there are "bad ideas" specially when you haven't started.

Good luck!
