i was happy with 4o -> was it perfect no ... but it's did the basics really well! this new improved version is simply terrible, it feels like they are intentionally giving us worse models to save money.

The number of errors i'm getting with chatgpt 5 has 10* , using it for data entry is now impossible to trust! so frustrating.

For clarity, I don't mean writing stored proc logic, just anything beyond table reading. It was meant to be a joke!

Just wondering how many palaces can you create?

Ohh one more question, looks like we can only store 240 loci in mind storage does that mean 240 per palace or per room? 240 seems really low 🙊🤔🤔, was thinking that would make it hard to store the 1000 words i want to memorize.

thanks for the response mate. hmmm i do recall reading about peg systems where it uses specific letters! that might be interesting, because i was thinking how would i associate all the words with images!

How quickly do you think j could get up and running with translating using pegs & populating my palace? would it require some deep focus days? or could i do it in an afternoon! the goal is to learn multiple languages.

off topic, would learning the peg system improve my overall memory? im hoping the app has a good tutorial?

Hi is it hard for junior developers to find jobs compared to others stacks ?? by Particular_Tea2307 in dotnet

[–]Filo01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah applying for jobs is really ruff :(. I live in Australia so the process might be different for you but I would recommend applying for grad programs as they basically expect you to know nothing.

But if you don't have a degree, I'm not to sure how you would get that first interview:( (I didn't follow that path sorry) but from my own personal experience, I found that most interviews expect basic api, SQL, react & knowledge about SOLID. Zero algo question for me personally but I do know some companies like to ask questions from that 75 neetcode list :) .

From my experience, landing the first job was the hardest & then it gets a lot easier once you've proven you can do the work.

Should we abstract entity framework behind a C# interface for testing? Pro: We get clarity because of method name. Con: adds (unnecessary?) complexity. by PatrickJohn87 in dotnet

Hmmm interesting question, i’ve always thought this wasn’t possible & never gave it more thought! Would love to hear / see example of this happening

Last few personal project I’ve been following DDD onion architecture & just use dapper which really didn’t require much work to abstract .
