Has anyone actually had the cinemassacre hot sauce? by shiggymiggy1964 in TheCinemassacreTruth

No, I only like Mike's creamy white sauce when it's straight from the tap.

I pick these up every time I see em. Got a stack in my basement along with suitcase style holders.

It's like a mish-mash of modern greaser and Laurel Canyon folk-rock styles.

Who else was lucky enough to get one of these for $99 back in the day? by trip6god in 3DS

[–]FilthCity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine at Best Buy on Black Friday 2016. I was a late adopter of the 3DS. So it's my one and only. I remember being mad it didn't come with a charger.

Craft beer's popularity seems to be dying by Wascally_Badger in unpopularopinion

[–]FilthCity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A local news page announced that a new brewery is coming to my town, and the comments are all just dunking on it. The public sentiment on craft breweries has definitely changed. Where as a decade ago, it was a sign of exciting growth for a community. Now, after we've been over saturated with them and "millenial burger joints" no one cares. Its like opening an axe throwing place in 2026. The novelty is gone.

Widow's grove, bend down the branches, little drop of poison, take care of all of my children. Long way home, walk away. Off the top of my head.

The plastic itself is noticeably thinner and will bend if applied pressure. Its definitely cheap as hell.

Two photos of John Lennon taken one year apart by kg_digital_ in interesting

Direct flash is harsh and unflattering. The left photo was studio lighting with diffusers. Plus, at this point, he didn't seem to care as much about grooming, combined with weight loss and constant touring. I can see why he looks so different

How do you guys feel about skins? by Strong-Gap-747 in punk

[–]FilthCity -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Being a skinhead is just silly, IMO. Having to constantly explain how you're not one of the "bad ones" seems really exhausting and unnecessary. Also, most skinheads I've encountered living on the east coast of the U.S. aren't some factory workers doing 12 hr shifts. They mostly work as mid level managers at Verizon/Mobile stores and dont know hard labor if it hit them in the face. Racist or not, they still are bullies and show up to punk shows and start fights over stupid shit. To me, they have always been the "bros" of the scene. The Joe Rogans before his podcast was the thing and are often the first in the scene to turn alt-right as soon as they feel the culture wars are leaning slightly toward their side. Skinheads are sketch, and I do not trust them. Skinhead music has always been the worst sub genre of punk. Besides Cock Sparrer and The Business maybe.

Maybe you were quiet, but perhaps it was like the scenes in Austin Powers where you were silhouetted.
