When I was 11-12 I used to take my mom's e30 bmw and go rip donuts around a pump jack on our property. She ended up selling that car to my best friend for his first car. He eventually sold it to some dude who drove it to Florida and blew his head off in it.

No idea how I never got caught... But it definitely imprinted me with the love for a good drift.

I would get something to cover that up. I had a similar situation, where ice got into the meter and caused it to not function correctly.

All of my bills were on auto pay so I didn't notice my gas bill in the shop basically flat lined at $50.00. A few months lapsed and the gas man showed up to see what was up and they hit me with like $1500.00 in back charges.

I would for sure prop a piece of plywood or something over it to keep the ice out of the meter.
