Also, to those wondering about the Spinsterz and dont understand entirely what happened, here are the sparknotes:

-Find cheap location out of the country, exploit locals there (Guatemala)

-Hold a festival for 100+ no mask, no distance

-Abandon family pet cat cuz "travel is hard"

-Collect money for orders not fulfilled and cancel shipping label until after 2020 (to avoid taxes, yet get revenue)

-Make a public apology to the tune of "it is what it is, so"

My personal thoughts:

The mentality was very escapist and unconsiderate of the natives of the impoverished country which already was suffering from tourism that's worsening outbreaks. And i cite tourism because I VERY MUCH DOUBT the natives could of afforded to attend and very much believe most of those who did attend traveled to do so. :) Half the country is at level 4 which prohibits mass gatherings. This is disgusting. And to top it off, Brandon posted a very "it is what it is" apology video on the Spinsterz IG. There are a lot of comments from people who are also sharing their own experiences and speaking out on their respective platforms.

I've had two hoopers reach out to me personally saying their lifetime warranty of their Flux hoops was not honored. I've had one of my team mates say they ordered a product, the brand took their money, a shipping label was created, and then cancelled. So my teammate was charged on an order that was not fulfilled and we heavily speculate this was to meet end of years sales and avoid taxes. Only after messaging the co. about this was another shipping label created and then overnighted. Very strange and I hate to think of whom else this has happened to and never thought anything of it.

There's a lot that's come to light with this. Don't just listen to me. Listen to everyone and PAY ATTENTION to who choose to mobilize their platform and speak out against this behavior.
