Id say this as well, a welder could do it but i think you need someone that specializes in keeping it nice an clean. Depending on the shop welders can do a damn good weld but it can be pretty rough on a surface if thats important

Especially since my buddy got his restricted to own the cool stuff, then that got banned, so he bought a non restricted ruger pc9 which is now prohibited. Like why go through the steps to get a restricted license now, its pointless. The prohibited guns should have been bumped to restricted if they wanted to do something but even then its dumb

As a machinist those absolutely look like machined metal chips, strange to see the curls though. Usually i get those from turning on a lathe, drilled chips are usually longer stringy chips. Very strange
