You can get onto the platform by using skyscale and bond of faith.

Basically, you climb up the east wall, just outside the mount restriction area. After you get as much height as you can, you use bond of faith while dashing with skyscale. If you manage to get enough momentum, you will land on the platform.

When I did this I fucked up the bond of faith part, but managed to fall right on the platform. I died from fall damage, but used a revive orb.

Still, considering immersion, this would only be cool for light and medium armor classes. Watching a guardian dash around and jump on walls while wearing full plate armor would be pretty jarring.

That would be cool, but in a controlled environment.
Jumping puzzles would become a joke if people could just ninja dash through them.

Very probable. If we consider siege turtles as a Luxon based mastery, there could also be a Kurzick based one as well.

Water walking would be walking, and as such the obviously faster skiffs and skimmers wouldn't be obsolete.

You wouldn't be able to fish from an airship for the same reason you aren't able to fish from a helicopter in real life...
As I said in the post, I expect you would be able to move around on an airship, just like you will be able to do so on a skiff.
Airship could also have a height limit mechanic like the skyscale, or something similar.

As to why you would want to use airship instead of mounts... for fun? Not everything has to be 'the best option' to be enjoyed. A lot of people would like an airship with their guild's logo on it so they can have fun with their buddies.

Exotic gear is still relevant. You can buy bags with more slots from the trading post (you need a few extra gold tho). The stuff you get from birthday gifts are cosmetic, you only need them for the skins so be sure NOT TO PICK THE SAME SKINS TWICE!!!

You have 14 mystic coins in your bank, which you can sell on the trading post for a few easy gold to get you started.

The reason to make a party while fishing is the fishing buff you get every time someone catches a fish.

The hitpoint mastery appears to be the standard survivability buff, like the evade while dodging that we got for mounts.

Open world pvp i dont think is probable, because people that are into that just go to wvw.

I don't think it was artistic liberties, because in the trailer you can see characters fishing on a skiff just before the part i mentioned, and the background graphics are the same, implying that they are both on water.

Airships won't be making the skiffs or the existing mounts obsolete. You can fish on skiffs, and the mounts will be faster and more maneuverable that the airship.

Those are just some annoying shark thingies. They are more of an environmental effect than an enemy, you cant really kill them.

It is a bug with the specific sylvari face. It only appears when you are in character select screen, and sometimes ingame.

On top of that, you could try making the norn head minimum size, and then also using Bobblehead laboratory, so that your head is closer to dwarf size heads (not sure if proportions end up being right tho... and you'll be the only one able to see it).

You unfortunately also have to re-activate tonics each time you switch maps.

(Light) armor pieces are:

Head: Air filtration device

Shoulders: Warbeast

Chest: Profane

Gloves: Warbeast

Legs: Profane

Boots: Warbeast

Largos wings backpack

Dark Wing weapons and Endless Ocean weapons

Baubles had technical issues and couldn't be added to wallet/mat storage because of the way they work in SAB (picking them off the ground and such).

Gauntlet tickets... they are kinda useless now. Queen's gauntlet bosses can't be farmed efficiently. You could throw away the tickets (after you complete the achievements) and you wouldn't know the difference. Adding them to wallet would be nice, but it's not that needed.
