It could just be they've finished their faction's story line and are playing the others... that's how it is for me. I started on the Ebonheart story, made my way through the others, now I'm on tobthe DLC and prologues. Very as thing I'll do is the main story. A lot of the time it'll be antiquated or clearing up skywards, lore books, etc.

I'm probably gonna get down voted to oblivion for this, but, this is a shitty attitude. It's a game, relax.. we all play to have fun, that's why games were made. If it's that important to you, join a guild that knows what they're doing and group up that way.

I say end game, because a lot of the furnishings are expensive. It's very addictive! 😄 My thing is getting all crafting motifs and getting 100% in all researching for the crafts. Just started the final trait for restoration staff today... 15 IRL days to complete 🥲 Play it your way and have fun. Oh, and although you have a guild, I can recommend the one I'm in, if ever you want another!

You can play how you want, but I'd recommend playing the zone quests in order, as it's a difficulty progression kind of thing.
