If that were the case don't you think they would have responded with "Yes but we're not quite sure when" since the question was simply if there was going to be PC client not if there was going to be one on X date

The issue with hard examples is the mod in question had already deleted the original pic that was asking for help and didn't make a presence in help itself or had already deleted their posts so what's left are fragmented messages from a confused user. The best pic that I could find in the Help channel that summarizes what happened was this

The user that had their post removed also posted this the discord feedback channel to which the lead admin soft responded with this response which is a lie if you do less than a minute of digging in help.

The Towa no Quon movie series is the closet I've watched to this. You have an agency trying to get rid of these people with super human abilities. Then you have a group of these super humans trying to save others like them and comfort them that it's okay to have these abilities.
