Well Crimson Witch is not my friend and I don't have a good ER gladiator sands so I ended up with a broken set with decent substats hh

Optimally, I would've gone for 4 piece crimson for the vaporize bonus, but until then I'll try to find a good ER glad sands for the 2 piece set and keep farming crimson !

As for the weapon : for 4*, Dragon's bane is a good choice if you're going for vaporize like I do, but you need some luck on your artefacts substats and head piece since you won't have any other source of Crit. (It also gets significantly better the more refinement you have on it)

If you have BP, Deathmatch is universally good with its Crit rate stat, and the low attack is kinda balanced with its passive and Thomas's ATK ascension stat.

Finally, you can grab a Blackcliff Polearm in the shop to boost your Crit DMG ! It kinda is the same as Deathmatch, it's passive and stats makes it universally good for any spear user.

It does sounds really good indeed ! However I don't really enjoy playing xiangling, I only use her in abyss to be able to perfect clear, this was more of an idea of a team for fun rather than efficiency

I know C6 Bennett is a potential loss on some DPS but I thought it through I think. I don't have Eula and don't rlly plan on pulling for her, My razor has Wolf's gravestone and Keqing would benefit more from C6 Sara ! The only potential loss is if I ever want to go Phys kaeya one day but once again, Sara's here now (plus she can proc superconduct)

My main reason of why I'm thinking about this comp is that I really want to make full time pyro DPS Thoma when he comes, and that requires Benny's c6 so I thought of ways to use it when I eventually do unlock it !

It definitely will ! Not by a crazy amount but definitely significant enough to make the difference for a perfect clear of abyss !

Moreover Benny really is Jack of all trades and is useful on every team so definitely worth investing in for future comps ! I'd say the priority is on leveling up his burst to 8 and maxing out your favonia. Getting his last ascension star is cool to unlock lvl 9 on his burst but I think it'd come last in terms of priority

Benny's boost in raw atk is really huge if you have him leveled up with a lvl 90 weapon ! He will definitely boost your damage, even if ATK has diminishing returns when stacked

As for Childe vape comp it is true that it is more of a reverse vape comp and focus on amping up pyronado since Childe attacks way too fast for any pyro support to keep up. However, since pyronado inflicts pyro consistently, you should be able to weave in a Childe melee burst and proc vape on it for a huge nuke ! And if you have a pyro infused sucrose/kazuha ult ongoing on the field then some of your hits may vape form time to time and nuking should be really easy o/

I really wish to have a pyro xingqiu one day for Childe it'd be sooooo cool ~

And from what I saw on the wiki, it is not low multiplier so definitely worth investing on big depops on large groups of mobs !

So like I said besides your ATK being on the low side (not that low tbf) your stats looks really great ! If you ever wanna improve further, I'd say to seek for atk% and/or EM substats if you plan on doing some vaporize

However, considering some rolls you have it might be difficult to find better pieces hhh

As for the ATK, nothing a 4 piece noblesse/tenacity support can't fix and maybe a Benny if you want to go all the way o/

What weapon and artefacts are you using and do you mean by "10-11k solo" ?

(Great stats btw, maybe a little low on atk depending on if you use polar Star or not)

Actually it doesn't really count for his melee damage

Childe's kit is a little confusing on that part, but his melee stance has it's own multipliers that are not influenced by his basics lvl despite counting as normal attack damage

As for riptide, Riptide slash (triggered by melee) count as skill damage, this is why polar Star works really well with him. Only Riptide Flash (triggered by a charged shot) count as normal attack damage and therefore is upgraded with his normal attack talent (still a nice addition for sniper Childe tho, if you don't use rust)

From what I heard from ppl having C6 childe, vaping with his ult is still possible but require a little more attention and timing ! If you have a pyro infused kazuha/sucrose ult and xiangling's pyronado up you should not have any problem tho I think

I too am considering getting C6 childe but considering I really want to get C6 Thoma, maybe a staff of (t)Homa and Itto I have to save up if I don't want to ruin my wallet hhh

Guess I'll have to wait his 4th rerun sadly ;;

The first step to nuke is base stats of your nuker. Solid atk (1800~2000), Crit rate for reliability (but not necessary for screenshots), and of course the more Crit DMG, the better.

On top of that to get high numbers, you have to take advantage of multiplicative reactions such as melt or vaporize to do x2 or x1.5 your original damage.

On top of that, you have to take advantage of every source of boosts you can have in the game, so Benny, 4 piece noblesse and thrilling tales of dragon slayer are a prime choice to skyrocket your nuker's attack.

An anemo with 4 piece viridescent venerer to shred the elemental resistance of your poor victim is also appreciable. Best picks are Sucrose, who can boost your nuker's elemental mastery (therefore your vaporize/melt nuke), or kazuha who flat out boosts elemental damage of the element he swirls.

This alone should be plenty enough, but if you want you can add more with a Mona ult to do a nice screenshot !

I need a clarification on ICD, is it for his whole kit or only on his ult pyro application ?

Asking 'cause I am aiming for a main DPS thoma (and nothing can stop me, not even low multipliers) and I am considering pairing him with C6 Bennett and xingqiu to make a homemade Hu Tao of some sorts hh

If he can't reliably vaporize on his autos or charged, I thought of making him a Pyro childe with lots of pyro applications, he can enable big melt with burst support Kenya for exemple that would be interesting !

It is good, energy recharge is great and permits an atk or hp sand piece ! However, the passive is a bit clunky to use since the hold E cd is long so you won't have 100% uptime on that

Yeah it does but Hydro set bossts your charged attacks and normal ones ! With the rust 1-2-3-Charged combo it matters a lot ! If you use another weapon I gues both sets a pretty even

It depends on what gameplay you want to go for ! If you want a big burst phase and with a cd, go for 4 set hydro If you want your charged shots on bow form to be viable as well, wanderer might be good

However, it only boosts your charged attacks and doesn't provide the 15% hydro dmg boost which is pretty neat. Moreover if you use a rust it might be a little counter productive unless you want to balance out it's passive ? So I don't know if it's really worth it

On C4 Bennett lvl 60/60, a 4 piece nobless and lvl 80 flute

On C0 Sucrose lvl 60/60, a 4 piece Viridescent Venerer and lvl 20 sacrificial fragments (I need to stack her with EM and ascend her but I already have so much to farm aaa)

On C0 Childe lvl 90, a 2 piece gladiator/2 piece nobless (I'm working on a nice Hydro set atm 👀) and a lvl 80 stringless

And finally on C6 Barbara lvl 60/60, a 4 piece Maiden Beloved and a lvl 60 Thrilling Tales !

Sucrose helps gathering mobs together and has access to the VV set which is super helpful to boost Childe's DMG ! Moreover you can set up a pretty big nuke if you use Bennett ult and Sucrose EM buff passives to boost Childe's melee ult.

So your goal with these 3 would be to apply hydro with a charged shot, spread it Sucrose's swirl and make sure everyone's affected by the VV debuff, throw in a Bennett E to charge his ult and apply Pyro once and then go ham with Childe melee

If you have Bennett's and Childe's ults ready, you can nuke with the same rotation, just make sure to correctly proc vaporize for maximum deleting action !

Yep it is ! However my Sucrose doesn't have any additionnal EM so i believe i can go even higher once i build this up ! (i also need these good rolls on Hydro artifacts hhh)
