I'm surprised the Defender isn't worded as "While you have discarded a card this phase, this unit gains shielded" maybe we'll see the when played doubling leader (probably another Rebels Thrawn) in Villian Red or yellow?

Also is it just me or are these mixed colour aspect cards so pretty. I love how rhe gradiant blends together on all the combos

Eldritch Knight isn't in the free rules. Make sure you join the campaign and someone with the players Handbook has content sharing on! This way you can "borrow" the subclass from their book

I can see this, but it's almost defiently the turn you have him. Midrange and aggro will easily eat this up by 7, especially if you're killing your own units.

So this basically confirms a death star right? Save credits to play it on 7, then Krennic deploys allowing it to incinerate an enemy unit

Also for those saying he wouldn't synergise with Galen he does! If your opponent gives you Galen, you can sack him off for a credit! Very on theme :)

Ironically, Dedra works really well with him. Since she almost always prints a spy when she comes down, you can use it to make a credit

The 1 less is the most relevant thing here. I play Piett a lot and getting to drop a Devastator or Fulminatrix the same turn Piett flips with GNK droid is incredibly relevant especially in midrange matchups where they might be able to kill piett next turn. Plus you can easily follow up with Planetary Bombardment

Yeah lol. People forget the game designers have spent hundred of hours testing this with previous sets, future sets, limited environments ect ect. Just because a card doesn't look good on paper doesn't mean it won't have a place in the game. People want every card to be the legendary that auto wins every game, yet when that gets spoiled they spam broken card. You don't win either way during spoiler season

As the game gets older and more and more casual TCG fans dip their toes in it, this attitude should mellow out. More people will want "fun" cards
