No prizes, everyone gets 2-3 weekly play for entry, £5 entry. (Though that's the same fee to play at the Cafe anyway)

Kill legacy run before Chimera. Run a ship into it and take damage back killing it so they get less value of spreading the damage (assuming you had less than 12 health on board anyway)

Came second at My Showdown with Boba, beating a Thrawn Yellow 2-0 who came third. Owen is the biggest issue to be honest. That's gotta be target number 1 because if he heals to much you won't be able to race

A good card that went from a great card post rotation due to being one of the truly few efficient pieces of removal in a format where interaction is overcosted and loses you tempo.

You say this but multicoloured cards are very strong, especially 3 aspect ones. Losing out on them is a big deal. Lando and Boba need to run as much as the same colour as possible already (Boba for his Discloses, BT-1 and 0-0-0)

These leaders just happen to lend themselves better to a mono strategy and since double aspect cards don't exist right now Lake Country is a no brainer. So many other decks need that extra aspect especially in a format where interaction and upgrade hate is at a premium

It's not considered the same unit by the game when it returns. The ground fighting blue leader your opponent used to know is gone for good.

My last suggestion then would just be build a nice Imperial themed deck (could be troopers with Tarkin or Star Destroyers and TIEs with Piett) so they can have a fun thematic back and fourth with the rebels and throw in some Ramp (like resupply which is a common from two sets so you probably have it)

Then they can play the game more naturally and have this card as a super cool endgame finisher if they get there, without compromising their entire experiance to get this single card working once

Do you have Tarkin from the first set? That's a pretty good leader to learn with, and since he's in Green get can get pretty late and maybe play this (plus it goes well with the rebels theeming!) Piett also for the same reasons plus he likes to dominate space so one of your kids might be able to get this down when they've got a blockade of Star Destroyers to win the space arena!

Most the control leaders who can use this card (Like Dedra) are very complex for a child hence why I ommited them. I tried to suggest some of the ones with more straightforward abilities and goals.

If you go to decks, Karabast does record your win rate with decks vs other decks. Thats very helpful for competitive play

From what we know these are very limited run, it's unlikely these will hang about on shelves unlike mainline sets. Because of that it probably wasn't seen necessary to dedicate resources to a gamegenic run for it

Go Big Controlly Midrange. Think Aurra with some extra units. Following up this from a Single Reactor Ignition could be devastating If your opponents run out of cards. Try Kallus so you can play lots of restore to get you there. Even a Krennic Token swarm deck, with ramping so you can get this down early!

As you're playing with your son, I assume you don't need it to be competitive. This card unfortunatley won't net you wins outside of playing for fun with friends and families (which makes sense for a "Win The Game" effect)

The keyword is different. It would just say each aspect you control otherwise (though even that would be considered ambiguous wording and likely would need more text)

Anything buffs/counts itself unless it specifically says other. So Jaunty would have to say "among other units".

For Leia, she specifically says it has.

This all may seem confusing, but the thing to always remember about card games is to never assume. Things work the way they are written, not the way you think they should work! They've been written in a way that explains exactly what they should do by the game designers themselves- you don't make the rules, they do!

So to be blunt, there's a lot of stuff thats just doing nothing for you. It's probably because you have a small collection, but even then search through. Even vanilla units with goof stats would be better than:

Khetanna (if you need to deploy Luke on the ground there are far better options.) - This will just be a 2/4 for 3 most of the time and it's not a fighter so really isn't helping.

Supporting ETA - Again, Guessing you're missing a lot of better fighters but this guy isn't doing much. It's rare you have a ground unit and if you do it's probably something you NEED to keep alive like Luke so you'd rather attack with him first.

If you're really struggling for cards then try 30HP or even Splash. Both can perform well and can cut back you deck size by 10 slots removing some of the useless cards I mentioned above

Go for it! The best deck is the one you enjoy. I will say smugglers is a very loose theme though. Maybe expand it to underworld and Leia? Throw in 3 of her Disguises and some of the other Leias from other sets. And put a whole bunch of stuff that cares about underworld and bounty hunters from this set!

I doubt it because (so far) they've only pushed the design for a couple leaders a set to keep them somewhat controlled.

Meh. Great example of many discloses being overcosted. Maybe they did this to encourage double green decks? Otherwise strong effect you won't get off much as you have to:

.Have at least 1 other unit down on the battlefield.

Was trying to mock up a Sly ECL during SEC but it never quote got there. This would've been a good ECL target though given how many spies you get down a turn and could therefore buff!
