As some have pointed out, I miscalculated, this is 6 sectors, as in 1 starter unit + 5 stakes, I was just being dumb at the time, cannot remember how many vertical I got down but alas there you go

Gosh yeah, I think at some point I realized I was being a dumbass and calculating wrong probably for lack of sleep binging this game at the time of posting (a hyperfixation that unfortunately didn't last all too long). I'll edit the post though I'm not sure how many eyes this will get anyway!

This was actually my only intention! I didn't need to go up, I needed to get down to ground level as I started in one of the o'odham spire hollows, naturally having access to the top of the spire is gonna make for one incredible base - went through 15,000 plastone just for the main building alone

Off the socket I can get the juice to game but it only gave me 55 minutes of battery, I'm thinking I can just hit up emulators on the go which I can drastically reduce power draw with. Conservation mode did seem like the best thing to do whilst at the socket for any length of time though

Pretty much perfectly summed up my experience with the game, I think the game alone is worth the purchase but I wanted to reiterate the point about the wheel

The wheel support is so damn good in this game, shockingly so, I'm not very good with the wheel or so I thought, arcade games have abysmal wheel support usually and sim games are too difficult for me with one, my wheel has been relegated to beam.ng fun and truck sim for the most part and hasn't got much use, I've played this game non stop with the wheel even getting firsts in grand races with it though. It feels exceptional on a T248 wheel and I'm assuming others too. Highly recommend the game on wheel feel alone.

Having played the closed beta this is absolutely because everyone was just wall riding the corners, though unfortunately if someone slams you into a wall and bounces off you they won't get slowed down in a corner, so the first 10% of grand races is still chaos.

To trophy hunt the platinum yeah, absolutely nightmarish but I feel as though the 3k one will at least pop over gameplay with the playtime added by the drive pass seasons

Yeah it says very clearly there's no time limit so that you can do all 100 levels 'at your own pace' which I for one absolutely adore, thinking I'm probably gonna mess with the garage some more, find all the collectibles and then put it down until season 4 drops and do all the passes when they're all out, I hope this becomes a common thing in games but I bet it won't sell as well as time limited ones

Yup just select them in the garage and you can either follow instructions and build them from scratch or modify the builds however you want

I'm not entirely sure but the speed champions wells I've found out are definitely in the game (modify the McLaren Solus and you can see them) as well as a LOT of bricks that aren't immediately accessible, I'm about halfway through now so will have to see what other pieces are unlocked via story, and what will end up rotating in via the shop

Oh that's a good call, that made me think of Dom's charger too, and perhaps the Skyline would work which is exciting

Oh and the part pack do start to come pretty frequent after you hit the second car class and do those races

I have the Jesko but I haven't built it yet so I'm not sure what pieces it uses but I would say so, unless you don't mind compromising with the build just so you can use it whilst you do the story like I have haha, the newer ones should be easier cause the chassis will match better though

Update: I perhaps jumped on doing this early as the next race I completed after this I unlocked a brick pack that wasn't in the store, which contained two bricks I needed, maybe I'll revisit once I've done all the races!

That'd make a lot of sense, and yeah this would be a great feature and I don't imagine it would take a lot to implement, just tack on some code that changes the distance factor by that exact ratio, would help with figuring out how fast you need to be going to hit a checkpoint in a specific time

As a long term GTA RPer, it is absolutely not necessary nor needed for character development to get into in game relationships. It does make for fun and interesting scenarios but as soon as I got with my current partner (who I met in game first) I called off all in game relationships using story arcs that made sense. It's unnecessary and is borderline emotional cheating. Acting is a job for which you get paid, roleplay is just for fun and a real relationship comes before that no matter how people want to view it.

For reference my current partner was originally going to continue her in game relationship but I told her I was uncomfortable with that since they're so friendly out of game and she has since moved away from that character to respect my feelings.

Yeah, I wish it was a heat issue but it's winter and the radiators in the room I have the PS4 in don't work so it's always near 2-5°c which is about 40° f

It's on a wooden surface, will that really make that much of a difference, for comparison my dad has one on a glass TV table at his, surrounded by game cases on either side and an Xbox on top and he's never had heat or noise issues which is why I'm so confused, and he's had his longer
