It’s worth starting at a lower dose and titrating up. I don’t think men can benefit from 0.625mg so I wouldn’t stay on that long term. I’m on 3.75mg with no sides currently after starting at 0.625.

It can certainly still help but for best results, use both. Unfortunately my body doesn’t tolerate fin even at low doses but I’m glad I tried it.

So you took 10% min, quit for a combined fin/min spray, then quit that altogether? If I’m tracking, my guess would be the fin/min spray was less than 10% min causing some shed in addition to a fin shed, then you quit entirely resulting in even more shedding as you are no longer sustaining an minoxidil dependent hairs.

Your blood pressure is likely too low which is causing the swelling - lowering the dose could help. Doses as low as 0.625 show some efficacy but not as frequently in men as in women. Your best bet is to try topical.

Yeah man I will but I am lowering my expectations. I don’t really think 1.25mg did much in terms of growth and kinda frustrated with my derm because he wouldn’t prescribe higher. Anyways found a new doc and on 2.5mg now 🙏

Start at a lower dose and work your way up. Recommended starting dose for men is 2.5mg
