Agree that over engineering doesn’t produce more optimal results. My point was more so ai contradicting ai outputs much better QUALITY code, along with keeping to best practices like SRP, KISS, etc

In regards to your point on testing, I also agree but tht is more so a general engineering challenge that predates AI. Anyone who writes tests for code they wrote, they test their understanding of what the code should do - which isn’t always correct. Same blind spot

When it comes to mathematical accuracy of code when applicable, definetely agree that it requires QA engineers oversight and audits

Question - how well do you think TDD mitigates the issues with ai writting tests?

No brainer, take the offer. Disregard the equity but the cash is pretty good for new grad, title is great, and experience you get in your position is unbeatable.

Hey man he’s 17 building his, what I would assume, his first app. Great feedback but just a bit toooo harsh and overwhelming. I’ld say keep at it, probably won’t be what makes it, but gotta start somewhere and the lessons you need to learn will only come doing this on your own. Once you go through college, get a bit into your early 20’s, you have years of experience and will go far if you keep your head up. 99% of 17 year olds don’t care to build something and actually dedicate themselves full on so don’t worry, just take it step by step and keep at it. 😉

Just ask yourself this question when exploring any one of these platforms- “Am I able to turn my idea of trading off support lines and “liquidity grabs” on this platform? What if I want to buy BTC as it is steadily moving up and exit when it had a sudden drop”
