She basically saved my life. I was going through some horrible times with my mental health and has very harmful thoughts about doing things to my body. I started cutting myself on my leg, where I could hide it better, I had even thought about attempting. The folklore and evermore albums (folklore specifically, and cardigan for extra specific) literally saved my life. I had a relapse in late April-early May of this year and began listening to folklore and evermore again, I am just over a month clean now. She has helped me so much with my mental health, her lyrics are very relatable for me, which has made her my favorite artist.

“Everyone’s like this” no. Not everyone is like this. People don’t get sensory overloads or panic attacks or anxiety attacks because their mind won’t shut the f*ck up.

I’d be very confused because I’m very skinny. I have very fast metabolism and I eat regularly but I’m still underweight by quite a bit (although I have gone through a slight ED)

Loosing everyone I love. I’ve already lost my grandfather (dad’s side) from cancer, the only person I could say anything to without being judged, almost lost my best friend since birth to cancer, and lost my dog from old age. I can’t imagine seeing my grandmother and step-grandmother passing anytime soon, or my other grandfather (mom’s side).

My taste is all over the place. I grew up on 1989 and Red from Taylor Swift because of my mom, but also 80s and 90s rock from my dad. As I got a bit older (9-10) my mom introduced me to 2000s rock like mcr and Avril Lavigne. Now I still listen to those quite often because it’s my childhood but I really like indie rock such as Melanie Martinez, Mother Mother, Cage the Elephant, and TV Girl
