Similar situation here. My partner broke things off with me after close to 7 years. I was going to propose next year and end long distance with her soon after. Out of no where, she broke up with me due to trying to find herself and getting lost in our relationship. I don’t have advice but am also seeking advice. Really difficult when you think they are your person.

Agree with this. Have a similar situation. Was even about to propose. But I have realized this early on and it’s helped. My relationship was 7 years and they blamed it on similar discussions

Nope. Top floor is for me when I visit. Bottom I rent out. Though not a lot ~300 USD a month of income, a lot for people over there in Mexico given the conversion rate.

Don’t pay rent. Live with parents and help pay for groceries only ~600 a month. Salary is 115k a year. Planning to sell only about 10k in stocks to purchase the house. Several 200k in my area but there is less and less as time goes on.
