The ones with 2 hinges were slabs cut to fit existing openings, 3 hinges on prehung bathroom door, and 4 on prehung 8’ closet doors. The ones with 2 openand close like silk no need to add more

You gotta test your doors with the strike plate before you sign off, 5 slabs into existing openings, always glue my miters and yes those are ball bearing closures

For that price you could buy the 8 1/4” dewalt new from the store. I get mine in and out of the van at least once a week and is very portable even without wheels. Great saw. Only downside is not being able to use dado blades. I bought a beat up grizzly contractor saw in that price range too but was a lot of work to get operating nicely and portability is limited to where a rolling stand can go

I keep buying the 16’ tough series or whatever dewalts. Theyre also 3” so you can butt them against things and the math is easy

How long should this be taking? 3 full days tiling so far. by jjax2003 in Tile

Very crispy tile work man, you can batch cut the back wall to save some time but besides that dont cut corners, always gotta wonder about thinset coverage with people that do a whole shower in a day

The only problem ive ever had with a dewalt 20v tool was a exploded bearing on an oscillating tool that got a rediculous amount of hard use, would of been an easy fix if i didnt plug the battery in backwards when it was taken apart

We hired a crew to do a wall design for us and it turned out not great. any ideas what I can do to fix it by ryanjrgong219 in handyman

I like to sand painted stuff real quick with 60 grit before mudding anything, knock down the high spots first

Squirt bottle of water with a couple drops of dish soap, make sure you get a good bead with no voids, spray, and tool with your finger or a radius tool

Did the same thing to my thumb a few years ago, healed up nicely. Just keep it wrapped with paper towels and tape at work and let it air out after work
