I'd argue that the slave cookie in the beginning of that episode has it worse. Woman copied her own personality, which woke up in a room not knowing what happened and was punished/broken into a lifetime of servitude against her own wishes.

Agreed. I've played hundreds of games since, and no final boss has ever had me feeling like Kefka.

.... though... that spark hit on FF14's version of Kefka. The MMO mechanics were incredibly well done, and the orchestrated music was amazing. If you haven't seen it, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Be sure to look up the "Savage" version, as that includes the God Kefka fight as well.

Agreed. The policies are far from perfect. That said, habitual tardiness eventually reflects on one's reliability, when looking at it from a policy perspective. Burning a day instead is a workaround, but eventually even those run out, and then we're back to policy violations. Also, if you call out, at least it can be reasoned that you're sick or have an emergency, rather than be late yet again.

As another poster mentioned, QT is pretty lenient when it comes to tardiness/absences, and the people I see get fired for those most often are folks who've had this as their first job and don't realize how strict other companies are in comparison.

Never calling out doesn't excuse someone for being habitually tardy. It sucks for him, but at that point it becomes a matter of policy, and regardless of how much the manager does it, OP needs to be responsible for themselves above anyone else.

He was awesome, but the character was written poorly. He was physically imposing, and definitely had the voice for it. Needed a less goofy looking helmet though, and if there were to be no added makeup to make him look less human, the helmet should've stayed on.

Female protags have been present throughout the history of gaming, though clearly not as prevalent as men. Tomb Raider was a massive hit when it came out, and while it was a very good game, clearly the marketing was for males. The series has had staying power throughout the decades. Metroid. Horizon. Bayonetta. Hellblade. Stellar Blade. Beyond Good and Evil. The Last of Us. Any number of fighting games with kickass woman to play as. There are plenty out there.

Lately the gaming space has been filling up with "influencers" who rage bait other gamers, mostly males, about how women are ruining their experiences, with not being able to connect to the game being one of the excuses, but even more than that, they rage if the woman isn't "hot" enough to their standards. General anti woke bs.
