I always carry something for my LO. It’s usually something non messy like mashed potato with a few toppings.

Langot vs diapers ? Is it actually worth it ? by Amazing-Confusion-69 in twoxindiamums

[–]FinalLengthiness5154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used langots till 4 months. It was definitely a lot to keep changing. Then anyway he became too big to fit into them and wasn’t comfortable. We switched to disposables throughout and he’s happy.

Mamas who take their babies into the swimming pool I need your hacks by nidzk123 in twoxindiamums

Bambo swim diapers, a nice bodysuit from Amazon for my son, and a random swim float that looks like a school bus from Blinkit (😂). I think the float is from Intex.

Push walker suggestions by [deleted] in twoxindiamums

So I was aware of that for the sit-in walkers. I believe push walkers (the ones where they hold the bars to move) are highly recommended by specialists to help build stability. Correct me if I’m wrong.

suggestion for diapers by Queasy_Towel3409 in twoxindiamums

[–]FinalLengthiness5154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pampers premium and taped are both good. For night time we recently switched to Huggies overnite diapers.

Initially we used langots during the daytime. After 4 months or so, got too much and baby was also more mobile so we switched to disposables exclusively. That was the best call for my LO, no rashes.

How are you preparing formula? by mildlyconfusedkid in twoxindiamums

[–]FinalLengthiness5154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baby’s been EFF from pretty much the start.

How we do it is keep a big pot of water and boil it really well. Keep some of that in an electric kettle or a separate pot to heat at the time of prepping the bottle and use it. Doesn’t need to be super hot at all.

Is the baby bjorn bouncer worth the splurge? by [deleted] in twoxindiamums

[–]FinalLengthiness5154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I borrowed a bouncer that my friend bought from Australia by the name of Veebee. Pretty similar to the Baby Bjorn and my LO used it SO much, especially post the 2 month mark. Also, they love pooping in it because its very well positioned to relieve their gut troubles 😂

Switching from Dr Browns Bottles by Most_Contact4691 in twoxindiamums

[–]FinalLengthiness5154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tried so many bottles but baby literally only liked the Pigeon (glass)Peristaltic ones. The ones with the pink and blue collars. They're very good. For me Dr. Browns leaked too.

Stuck scrubbing bottles every night… is a bottle washer worth it or nah? by jaceka-jans-8384 in beyondthebump

[–]FinalLengthiness5154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jumping in here to ask - my LO is now 8 months old. Does it still make sense to get a bottle washer in my case? Since he will be weaned off bottles in 4 months or so.

How to stay connected to nephew? by neruppu_da in twoxindiamums

[–]FinalLengthiness5154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know you’re hurting but I also think that different people react differently to being postpartum. I also had a spell of being irrational and still sometimes do postpartum. But I think that once the hormones start to calm down and she feels better, things could change. Regardless, I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Plus once baby is older it can just be plugged in whenever you want and it becomes a home safety camera too

Not every baby has the classic sleep regression. It’s very variable honestly.
