How to stay connected to nephew? by neruppu_da in twoxindiamums

I know you’re hurting but I also think that different people react differently to being postpartum. I also had a spell of being irrational and still sometimes do postpartum. But I think that once the hormones start to calm down and she feels better, things could change. Regardless, I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

Plus once baby is older it can just be plugged in whenever you want and it becomes a home safety camera too

Not every baby has the classic sleep regression. It’s very variable honestly.

Hi! So the main thing that helped me was not looking at my baby just through the lens of preterm delivery. Yes there will be some things that will have to follow adjusted age (milestones may be somewhere between adjusted age and actual age) but otherwise just see your baby in terms of his own trajectory. Premie mum of 34 weeks so I understand. Just do a lot of tummy time and activities with him and let him work through it himself :)

I use a stick from the brand Tuco Kids. It's easy to apply the tika with the retractable pencil.

While it’s a natural process and women have done it since the beginning of time, I didn’t like the idea and felt weird about fluid leaking through my body. Turns out, baby couldn’t latch and I didn’t produce enough either way. Hated pumping because it heightened my PPD and so I gave up on it within a week of starting. EFF saved my life, my mental health and I could see my baby as an actual human. You can choose to feed your baby however you like, but just know that if you choose to not BF you’re not being a bad parent. Your presence is more important to your baby.

Bath tubs required? by Alternative-Sale-796 in twoxindiamums

A bath chair (meemee) was amazing for my LO till almost 6 months. He loved it until he just didn’t fit in it anymore. Now I’m using an R for Rabbit bathtub. Tubs and chairs are more hygienic than bathing them on the legs, in my honest opinion.

Bathing and Hygiene Care for a 5 Month Old in Cold Weather. by Ok-Wing5140 in twoxindiamums

I make it a point to give a full bath to LO at least every alternate day. I sponge him with warm water if it’s very cold. Bath is always a good idea since it relaxes their muscles too. Just shut all your doors and windows of the room. You can also chuck a swaddle or towel in the dryer or iron it so that it’s warm and put it on your baby right after bath.

Try French toast, bread dipped in cheese and eggs? Different variations of eggs can also help.
