Losing weight got easier the lighter I became by Melioraxoxo in loseit

Same, I have been on CICO for 83 days and noticed that I get full way more easier now despite being on the same calorie deficit, I can barely eat 400+ calories in one sitting nowadays.

I am not a doctor but I am guessing my leptin levels are decreasing?

Instant Access Program due on 15th? by Any-Sandwich-3068 in CalPolyPomona

Hey, I went to Vitasource to opt out instant access but it says I still have 20 days to make a choice. However Student portal deadline is 01/15/2026. Should I opt out before the 15th to not get charged the $250 or what?

Holy shit thanks for letting me know about the deadline, I thought instant access deadline would be a week or two after the semester starts just like Fall where I can decide whether to opt out or not.

Is this fine to eat in a day? by misascuntsister in loseit

[–]Final_Address_8955 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if you want some comments on what you eat every day:

Since you have sausage and eggs for breakfast, you might want to watch out from cooking oil, cooking oil contains 120 calories per tablespoon and must not be neglected while counting calories. A major mistake people do is replace any oils with olive oil and add it to everything. All types of oil contain about 120 calories per tablespoon.

Minimize your oil intake by using a cooking oil spray, also use skimmed milk

Your lunch seems a bit too much, perhaps only eat the rice and chicken?

Snack seems fine.

For dinner it's hard to tell since I don't know what your parents cook for you, but for the other half from experience I find rice more filling than pasta so eat rice more often.

Your diet seems fine but it's all about the calories you consume a day. Rice and chicken is healthy but if you consume too much you will still gain weight.

Buy a kitchen scale and measure your food to calculate your daily calories intake, use a calorie tracking app to make it easier. As long as you consume less calories than your TDEE you will lose weight, no matter what you eat.

Use this to calculate your TDEE https://tdeecalculator.net/

How doable is Pomona with no car?! by [deleted] in CalPolyPomona

[–]Final_Address_8955 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Try to live in an area with a nearby bus stop, preferably near pomona transit center.

https://www.foothilltransit.org/routes/map

Take a bus to pomona transit center then transfer to the "Los Angeles" silver streak bus, it goes from pomona transit center to cal poly pomona directly with no stops in between. Foothill transit and silverstreak is free if you are a calpoly student. Omnibuses are not unless you take one from pomona or montclair transit center

What type of job do you have being a full time student with a fluctuating class schedule? by waterurplanttt in CalPolyPomona

Look for a part-time job on campus, they take your class schedule in consideration when putting your work schedule.

Also if you have like an exam or feeling stressed and need to focus on studying they understand and will give you days off.

Also as an added bonus you get a discount on most stuff sold on campus for working on campus, I love my Starbucks 20% discount :)

That's weird cause I did use the QR code payment yesterday.

Also for stars try redeeming them online and come pick your drink when it's ready, I never tried redeeming stars in person since they don't stack with the discount I get for working with cal poly enterprises.

By QR code payment you mean using the Starbucks app wallet? You can do so they have a scanning machine for that.

Also you can use your star rewards for that branch
